A very personal dinner....wow!

I had read some reviews about Reed and thought we should try it on our last night in Paris. Best meal in Paris!!! Hands down. The owner/chef/server is Katherine (?) and you should all try it. Just not all at once because she only has a few tables. But, she will blow you away. She does it all with... read more

On entering, you immediately feel that you have come into a family kitchen and dining room. If you have a chair facing the kitchen, you have the pleasure of watching Catherine, the owner and Chef, preparing the meals of those who had arrived earlier. You wonder how all the attentions required in a high cuisine bistro can possibly be done... More

Love everything about this place from ambiance to food. My friends and I found this place on yelp and placed a reservation. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated by Catherine. She's a one woman army. She's a hostess, waitress, server, and chef. The ambiance gave off a cozy, relaxing, and a at home kind of feeling. There are about... More

Make a reservation as we barely got in and it would have been a huge loss. We only got a table as someone was very late. Remember, this is a one woman show so she is very concerned with the right timing of each seating and rightfully so. A table showed up 40 minutes late and you could see the... More

My sister and I took Catherine's cooking class last Wednesday. Catherine is a patient and informative teacher. She is warm and personable. We shared many laughs together as we shared stories and cooked a wonderful meal together. It was like cooking with a good friend. I am an enthusiastic home cook (grew up on Julia Child) so it was fun... More

We had another fantastic meal at Reed last week. We have eaten at Reed for the last few years and have never been disappointed. Catherine Reed is a wonderful cook. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

I admire what she is trying but it is not working. She has no time for charm and the cooking is ordinary. Not a good value

I was so happy to find Catherine Reed's cooking class through Paris Perfect. Having lived in Paris, I have been to many cooking classes, etc. but never did I learn as much as I did with Catherine. This prompted me to have dinner at Reed with my husband . Reed is a charming restaurant where Catherine Reed is chef, server,... More

This restaurant is a little gem. Chef owner, Catherine Reed is in complete charge of an evening in her charming restaurant. Prices were excellent for the high quality of her food. Exceptional find in the heart of Paris.

Tiny private chef's studio. Menu changes daily. Person who didn't like tomoto tartlet is "special." It was a flakey basil filled crust, topped with tomatoes on crack (no other explanation for the flavor) and freshly shaved parm cheese. I had the cornish hens which were over a bed of cabbage, cumin (go figure!) and bacon. Hubby had beef bourgoinon and... More
