I was in Paris last week with my mom and aunt, and we were very much looking forward to going to REED. The reviews here on TA were good and she was recommended to us by several people. We made reservations for Friday at 7:30. We were very conscious about not being late, so we took a taxi and ended... More

This is my second experience at Reed - what a fun and delicious experience! The first time I walked in by myself and was greeted by a friendly couple who I thought worked there. Nope - they were regulars of the restaurant and welcomed me like I had been there the night before. An entertaining evening ensued. Catherine, the owner,... More

My wife and I had booked into another local restaurant but found it to be empty and the small starters not to our taste so we left and tried to find somewhere. Trip Advisor said Reed was just around the corner and had great reviews so we wandered in. The wonderful Catherine Reed was extremely hospitable and although we hadn't... More

We ate at Reed on our last evening in Paris, having attended the cooking class earlier that week. Catherine is a superb chef and hostess and, as others have said on this website, it feels as if you are being entertained in Catherine's home. Being the off season, there were only 8 patrons the evening we dined. This allowed Catherine... More

I ate for the first time at Reed's in December of 2013. It will not be my last time at the restaurant. As a vegetarian, it is sometimes tricky to find great choices at a French restaurant, and I often find myself eating Italian, Indian, or Greek food even while in Paris. Luckily, at Reed's, I did not have this... More

After reading various reviews about Reed, we had the opportunity to dine here and found it just delightful. It is amazing that one person can prepare and serve the delicious meals, and also be so warm and welcoming to her guests.

Catherine's restaurant is on a quiet little street in the 7th, in my favorite neighbourhood in Paris. We walked by a few times at night on our way home to our rented apartment and thought it looked cozy and charming with an interesting menu posted in the window. We popped in one night without a reservation hoping to secure a... More

I was traveling on business and decided to stop in on a Friday night for dinner. The restaurant is quite cozy so make sure you have a reservation. It was a bit rainy when I came so I was about 10 mins late and the chef/owner seemed annoyed. Eventually she warmed up a bit. If you want an amazing culinary... More
