Good enough

My friends were starving and dug into their large meals, which they seemed to enjoy. I asked for a side of rice, which was delivered in a plastic bag inside a wooden basket. Rather than ask the waiter about the weirdness, I just ate all the rice...

As the title states, all good. I had a lamb dish, after we shared a tom kaa kai, that was really good.

For those on a budget, the Blue Siam was adequate and no more than that. We were two of only 5 people in the restaurant so the service was prompt and attentive but the food itself was no better than average for this type. We had green and red curry and mixed starters - the starters were bland and generic... More

Excellent and well priced Thai restaurant in the Bastille area of Paris. Better to go for either the lunch or dinner special which are the cost effective choices. Food quality is excellent and service immpecable. I went back three times!

We are shocked to read the above reviews. Like others, we've had Italian food for over a week and fancied something spicy. Ordered beef red curry, chicken yellow curry, noodles and a vegetable rice. Wow! It was a taste sensation! Wonderful ingredients and flavours, beautifully presented too. We are only in Paris for two nights and are seriously considering eating... More

We found Blue Siam when looking for something spicy after a few days of Italian and French meals. It did the trick, serving moderately priced Thai standard dishes, though the green papaya salad was notably fresh, sharp and sour. Banana and tapioca pudding proved to be too close to our memories of English school dinners, but that was hardly the... More

I dropped by this place to pick up a Pad Thai for my girlfriend. IT was slapped together in less than 2 minutes but when she tried it, the broccoli was not very green and cut in a way that clearly was meant to do away with the rotten parts. The noodles smelled funny and the chicken was overcooked.
