We left after getting no service.

We thought it would be funny to eat here, since we live near Twickenham in the UK. We were quickly given a seat by a nice man. The atmosphere was not great. Uncomfortable chairs, a gambling machine of some kind, tvs. Anyway, we asked for some wine and it came quickly, though it wasn't very good. I... read more

From the outside, the place looks like many other bistros, so we decided to stop by for a glass of wine and a quick bite. We took two glasses of white wine and they were hardly drinkable. I wouldn't even cook with it. We then ordered cassoulet (beans with sausages and meat) and canard confit (duck). Cassoulet was obviously supermarket-bought-warmed-up-from-the-can.... More

5 days in paris and we ate here twice. Maybe a little pricey but the food was excellent - my son is a fussy eater but he wanted to come back here as they made him great steaks just the way he likes his done

It was a freezing Saturday lunchtime and I was equally in need of respite from the bitter cold as I was for some hot food. As I battled my way along Boulevard St Germain against the North Easterly wind, I was tempted by the blackboard offering daily specials for 12.50 euros. It was about 12.15 pm and there were many... We stopped off here for a drink and to use the wi-fi, whilst we made a decision on where to eat. We figured that if we had a good experience with the drink, we may even stay on and eat. We didn't!! We ordered a glass of red wine and a pint of lager. It was 'Happy Hour' but our... More

There was such a nice old man standing outside the restaurant and preparing the oysters that we couldn't resist coming in. And I didn't regret it for a bit. Maybe my friend would have a different opinion - but she is not a great fan of oysters. I had the assortment of different types - 12 oysters in total -... More

We ate here twice... on the Saturday and Sunday evenings. As advised by our guide we went for a set menu and were more than pleased with the choice. Staff efficient and friendly would recommend food.

We came here out of sheer hunger and boy was that a mistake. The service was decent at the very beginning (as in getting seated) but it all went downhill after that. We ordered two different types of steak with chips and two beers. Even though the restaurant had barely anyone in it, the drinks and food took forever to... More

We couldn't find the area we were sent to so we stopped here. I had mussels and fries and my girlfriend had a salad. The food was good. Service was good. Turned out to be a pretty good place to go to. I would go back if i was in the area.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
