Pleasant Lunch in the 11th

We took a chance and walked in witout a reservavation. The Maitre d' looked us over and found a tiny spot by the window. From then on we were delighted. Good service. Inventive food. Nice local group.

Charming little restaurant, close to the metro. It's a small restaurant, very nicely decorated in a French way. You have to take the menu for 39 euro (evening, lunch is cheaper) with lots of choice. Service was prefect. I would definitely recommend.

Its always embarassing when someone is treating you to dinner and the food does not measure up to expectations. We were really looking forward to trying Le Chardenoux and first impressions were favourable. Its a typical small Parisian restaurant with lovely decor. The fixed price menu is reasonable by Paris standards - €39 for three courses. But what a disappointment!... More

I knew about this place reading an Alains Ducasse book. Delicious food, great service. The only thing is that is tiny! Reservations are important!!!

We had one night in Paris and Le Chardenoux had been recommended to us by a French colleague. It was very, very good. The food was superb, the service friendly and helpful and the environment beautiful. I went with a friend and my 2 sons (ages 10 & 8yrs), and the waiters were great with my boys and made the... Dinner for 4 was really good. They make a wonderful 'bleu' steak (rare) and their desserts are deadly. It is located in a 19th century building and they have maintained and enhanced the decor. The service is excellent and the wine prices aren't outrageous.

Went there on a romantic dinner, it was just great!, no wait, beyond that, it was PERFECT! The restaurant is not pricey, it really gives you good value for your money. The food is ridiculously delicious! We asked for the carpaccio and the trout for entreés, then grilled salmon and simmered veal for main courses and for desserts obviously Creme... More

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and it was always busy, always great service, always mouthwatering good and an amazing selection of wines! Please do visit here when in Paris, but book!! There is no space for walk-ins usually.

My friend and I arrived at the Bistro to find we actually should have made a reservation as it was full... however, perhaps on seeing the disappointment on our faces the staff graciously set up a table for the 2 of us outside which was perfect! Service was excellent, friendly, and gracious. The food and wine were absolutely delicious... we... More

I'm very happy we did not read some of the negative reviews before making a reservation at Le Chardenoux to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff greeted us with smiles and laughed with us over our difficulty with the French menu, bringing us English menus. Three of us ordered three different entrees and three different main courses. All were exquisitely... More
