Awesome desserts

The food was awesome...anything you buy is of best quality. The lady at the cash counter was snobbbish and refuse to speak in english. But do not let that stop you from buying at this place.

This boulangerie makes the most amazing Pastiche aux chocolat pastries. They were so delicious I went out of my way and across Paris to get them several times. So good!

Located yards beyond the Hotel de Ville Metro shop on Rue de Temple, this is my favorite place to get a croissant in Paris. It is a no fuss boulangerie, no seating is provided, the service is prompt, and the food is fantastic. While studying abroad, it was on my walk to school and every day I had to will... More

I really like this bakery and can go in this bakery just to buy their bread with pistaccio and raisin. The "chouquettes" are really good too, like croissants. Concerning lunch, you have a lot of choice of bread (swedish bread, baguette, vienna bread...) and type of sandwiches... The staff could be more smiling at lunch time...

I stopped here each morning for croissants and fresh orange juice while I was in Paris. The shop keep is so pleasant and friendly. You must go here!

My morning breakfast in Paris, oh how I miss their delicious pastries especially the almond pastry. I highly recommend everything in this boulangerie! Why does food taste so much better in Paris? I wish I could find comparable in SF!

The smiling face of the proprietress every morning, the wonderful pastries, croissants and baguettes - no better bakery in LeMarais (or, perhaps, in a much larger area). As another reviewer noted, this is an absolutely wonderful boulangerie/patisserie. The counter staff makes you feel welcome, whether you speak French or not. Everything we tried was amazing. We branched out eventually into... More

We found this patisserie completely by divine intervention. We were lost and needed some sweetness to replenish our strength. We sampled 14 patisseries in five days and this was by far the best. Simply outstanding in every way.

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
