Wonderful lunch

Had a ery nice time, very interesting food. great presentation. We took the fixed menu option that was really not that expensive (50 euros) but also not many options to choose from. The staff was very professional, not so good in english but we had some help so we managed. The description of the... read more

We chose the 6 rather than 8 and were delighted. The environment and service compliment the dining experience. The wine pairing was interesting, tasty and at 10 euro a glass refreshingly simple whilst the spring water is free and a perfect choice with this menu.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Cobea. From the minute we arrived to when we left service with a smile. The whole experience made this one of my favourite meals I have had in many years. The food is outstanding and wine amazing. Each course was carefully explained to us in English which was great as I speak no... More

After reading the reviews both good and bad, I decided to book this restaurant to celebrate my father's 60th birthday. We had a fun evening, but we left the restaurant unsatisfied and unimpressed, and given the price and the Michelin rating we expected more. The main issue we had was that 2 of the 5 people requested not to have... More

Beautiful restaurant. Loved the intimate setting, and the very professional look. We arrived and were greeted in a very friendly manor and shown to our table. The tables are small, like everything in Paris, but did not feel cramped. We ordered the 6 course taster with the wines to accompany it. Each course was beautifully presented and explained very thoroughly... More

This restaurant is professionally run and is a must for any visitors to Paris. We dined as a couple my wife selected the 4 courses and I the 6 and the matched wine option. We were not disappointed with either. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. the coursed were nicely spaced and beautifully presented. The flavors where as good as... More

My husband and I had great expectations of Cobea and arrived with eager anticipation. We ordered the 6 dish course. In all fairness, the food itself at Cobea is not bad, though whether it is deserving of a Michelin one star status is subject to debate. The Chef and the kitchen staff was professional and efficient. Speed of service of... More

We go there once to twice a year. An incomparable place. Everything is perfect. Only faux pas is the espresso that is Richard ... no comment needed! The rest is simply impeccable. From the bread to the food and the choice of wines. We always go for the 6 choice menu which is plenty enough.

Food is nice except deserts. We got chocolate ball with vanilla cream and taste was average. Restroom is uncomfortable and door cannot be closed there. Personnel is good but they dropped my scarf two times and almost killed my while closing taxi door. They cleaned table only one time before desert. Also they asked if we would like water and... Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
