Lovely lunch with daughter at Cobea

My daughter is a foodie who loves trying out good food. Cobea had been selected by her out of some researches she made. The restaurant was charming and not very big, laid out in a cozy manner. We had the set lunch menu and service was good and unobstructive. They started our lunch by bringing out a... read more

Small, well hidden place in the heart of Montparnasse. Calm atmosphere, nice service and faboulous serving. You choose a number item meny, 4-6-8 dishes. All superbly cooked and served with the wine of you choice or by recommed wines, they tend to be paired with excellence to the food. Small portions but still very fulfilling, this is fine dining. Chose this as it was highly rated in Tripadvisor and also a one star Michelin. The food was good but I have had better at non Michelin starred restaurant. All in it was a good experience.

Delicious, beautifully presented food and relaxed, effortless service. You will be hard-pressed to find better value for fine dining in Paris.

I planned this dining experience as a surprise for my wife on our honeymoon and boy did it deliver. From the moment we walked in until we left we were treated like royalty. We went for the six course Menu, which ended up being nine with little complimentary bits coming out. Every Dish amazing and full of flavour. We went... More

Had an incredible lunch. Compared to other Michelin star restaurants I've been to not unreasonable for price albeit I'm sure dinner is more costly. As mentioned in other reviews the staff had the balance of attentiveness just right without being pestered. The food was superb with some real gems between courses. beautiful presentation as expected. Unique cheese course that melted... More

Great service and food. We had their standard lunch menu but there was nothing standard about either the quality or service all in all a special experience from start to finish. We had some great food in Paris but not surprisingly this was the highlight and well worth the praise / accolades it receives

This was wonderful in all departments. Service was excellent, not too much, not too little. The food was superb. A standout was the remarkable red pepper dish, served in a sort of sushi-like roll made from finely cut zucchini.

The restaurant was excellent. It provided the best meal we had in Paris. In all aspects it was terrific. The combination of flavors and presentation, as well as the staff were really first rate.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
