A perfect meal!

It is the second time we went to Cobea and everything was perfect again - the food, the service, the ambience. The experience was very nice. The dishes and drinks were all very healthy to us. They taste amazing especially the fish which gave out the very best texture of fish. I never knew fish can taste that fantastic. The staffs were also very funny and friendly.

We booked a table online for our first night in Paris (would definitely recommend booking as it was full the night we were there). We were not disappointed. The staff, food and ambience were all excellent. The menu offers either 4,6 or 8 courses. We opted for 6 courses and along with the little extras thrown in by the restaurant,... More

This review is a little tainted as the day after we went to L'Atelier in Paris which was truly magnificent. Cobea was great though. Not as pricey, very reasonable in fact. We had the taster menu and matching wine for around £250 which included a truffle supplement. The staff were wonderfully friendly and translated what we couldn't understand into English... More

Fiance booked this place as a special treat. We got the 100 euro per person degustation. For a Michelin star restaurant, that is a bargain! Total bill was like 225 euros.... like I said it's a splurge but totally worth it. Let's see, we had delicious scallops, gnocchi, pigeon (first time eating pigeon. Sorry my friend you are one tasty... More

I was invited to dinner at this one Michelin starred restaurant by an older Parisian couple who made a reservation for 7.15 pm. I arrived there at 7.05 pm and thought I could wait for my friends whilst having a glass of wine at the bar or outside. They wouldn't let me in as I was 10 minutes early! Yes,... More

We went for a business lunch and the place although off the beaten track, was full. The egg dish, amuses-bouche, and cannette were all terrific. Although the portions are not large, I was quite stuffed when I left. Really worth going back to.

The perfect combination of food, wine list, ambience and service...all top quality. This is a small, uniquely arranged room for intimate dining. Each table has it's own space. Nicely presented creative cuisine. 4, 6 or 8 course meal options. We are pescetarians and the chef was very accommodating. The cheese course was inventive, brie like we have never tasted. Dessert... I booked the 'Just You and Me' package that Cobea offers and proposed to my girlfriend over the meal. You get 8 courses (plus a few extras), a glass of champagne and 3 glasses of wine in your own little seating area within the restaurant. The food was delightful and although portion sizes for each course are as expected small,... More

It was our last night in the city of lights and I wanted to treat my fiance to a special dinner date. Upon our arrival we were greeted to a restaurant with a nice modern decor and excellent service from the staff! Our surprise came with the menu selection or lack thereof with a table d'hôte without an accompanying menu... More

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
