My favorite breakfast of my life!

The perfect French cafe. The interior is everything you wish a French cafe near the Seine would be, unbelievably charming. The head waiter was wonderful to watch, so much fun! The breakfast was well priced and my cafe creme was great. The service was fast and polite and the food tasted good also. The view and atmosphere is amazing and what you'd want from a Parisian cafe. Can't wait to go back!

If you need a quick hot chocolate, or cafe au lait, a little breakfast, or some french onion soup, this is the place. Easy, good, and happy, entertaining wait staff.

Breakfast was good, french style. Omelettes were tasty, coffee was okay. Croissants were not the best though. But it seems like the only good place to have breakfast on Sant Louis, and it was not yet crowded in the morning and the service was good also.

This café was right next to our hotel (the Hotel Saint-Louis en l'Isle), and sits on a street corner with views to the bridge that connects the island to the island on which sits the Notre Dame cathedral. Like any Parisian café, there is a set of tables and chairs laid out around the building to watch the world go... More

My friend and I spent a long weekend in Paris at the end of February and it was utterly divine. I had done my homework on the best places to dine and Café Saint-Régis kept popping up on various reviews. It met our expectations and so much more. In fact we ended up having petit déjeuner there on the Saturday,... More

It is just down the street from Hotel de Lutece, where we always stay. Looks to the back of the Notre Dame. Totally Classic French spot for casual meals or sipping of wine, inside or outside. Watch the musicians and pedestrians on the bridge. Great wait staff. If it were in the U.S., I would give it a 5, but,... More

This has to be one of the best places for lunch in Paris, on the Ile St Louis and a great place to end up after visiting Notre Dame cathedral. The place is buzzing with character and warmth, and the food is outstanding – especially the onion soup! The waiters will keep you amused – but be warned this is... More

We had a great experience in the Cafè St. Regis, a very typical and charming restaurant in a very nice and romantic part of the city. The eggs benedictine are worth trying ... The waiters, both girls and boys, were very kind and quick in serving, but also nice and available to give advices. If you are in the area... More

We ate here several times--the waiters are friendly and helpful. The food was good--my cheese omelet was wonderful. It seems a popular place and was usually crowded--for good reason.

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
