A great find

A little bit concerned to find the restaurant empty apart from a couple well into their meal ( why was it necessary for the waiter to try and sit us at the table next to them when no other tables were in use?) but our worries quickly dismissed as it began to fill up and food arrived. This was the best culinary experience of our 5 day trip to Paris. Ambience in restaurant was good and frequented by a lot of French people which was a good sign. It is necessary to book. Restaurant is near St Lazare station. I had the Saint Pierre ( dory) which came in a lovely sauce. My husband had pork which... More

A wonderful culinary expereience in an unassuming restaurant. Food was glorious, especially the pork belly, and the desserts were something to savour. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Good wine selection at a reasonable price. Recommended to all.

We chose the 3 course dinner in this small and intimate restaurant in the 8. arondissement Service was first class and all dishes beautifully presented. The highlight of the menu was the dessert: A ball of delicate dark chokolate was served and very hot chokolate was poured over so the chokolate ball melted and discovered the perfect pear belle helene... A friend recommended me this small restaurant in Paris. Excellent welcome, refined place without excess, good advice from staff. Great time and in particular what magifique sweetbreads with a white wine glass and after a half sphere chocolate on which is pouring hot chocolate ... the center a ball of ice cream ... You must book ... This restaurant seems... More

We have been to Neva several times since it opened a couple of years ago and have always given it the highest praise. However, something has changed. First of all the service during this visit was both sullen and slow. There were two wait staff for the entire dining room though the dining room, which has 15+tables and seats 40-45... More

Really excellent cuisine - this has to be one of the best meals (in terms of value for money) to be enjoyed in Paris. Very good service. A very good evening. Evidently the strange experiences of a handful of people has caused the incomprehensible low rating for this very good restaurant.

We had a very nice dinner in this crowded yet spaceful restaurant, which is quite surprising for Paris. The food was "neo-brasserie" style, beautiful modern french cuisine, with a hint of surprising trendy ingredients. The minimalist plates looked really gorgeous, especially the deserts. The service was very lovely, high quality, yet friendly.
