A positive surprise

We have been there with my family and friends for lunch in the month of may. In general being italian I am skeptic of italian restaurant outside my country (especially in France) but I have to admit that sometime is good to make a try. We ordered different kind of pasta, with seefood, fish and... read more

This is a tiny restaurant with charm and personality. We enjoyed an early evening family meal before visiting the Sacre Coeur. We sought the restaurant out after reading reviews on Tripadvisor, and were very pleased with our choice. (We realised afterwards that they have a larger restaurant further up the hill, although both seem to have the same menu). With... More

Absolutely love the amazing food and they now have two locations! Been coming here for years! It's where all the smart locals dine!

Found it on trip advisor whilst in taxi to Monmartre. Booked online .... All so easy. Fantastic location, wonderful food, perfect wine and friendly service. Would definitely go back and highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris Monmartre area.

Superb! Don't miss this - best olives, fab pasta dishes and super value wines, best meal in France so far! Try the Bolgheri white wine at only 32 eur - - even the soft bubbled water is a class act - and we are still not even at the dessert yet!

It was great experience. Owner was our waiter and we just ask him to surprise us. Final effect was over our expectations. Great place, for sure I'll visite it not only once during my stays in Paris. One minus - waiters don't speak english.

We found this place after our visit to Sacre Coeur and Place du Tertre. It was delightfully small, fabulous Italian food, great service and not touristy. Menu was in French and Italian but if you know your pastas an English only speaker can do this easily.

Brilliant meal I had linguine with clams and tasted amazing. Located at the top of the hill so not for the faint hearted! If you are in the area and fancy Italian, this is the place to go!

We seeked the Italian out from the reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. It is a cute little restaurant at the top of the hill (they now have 2 restaurants, the original one on the right and a new restaurant on the left at the top which has outdoor seating, both have the same food!!) We had parmigiana... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
