Pretty good

The location is great, the style is cute, the service pretty good and 50% of the meal was excellent. My dish was quite Bland but my wife's was excellent. Probably worth another visit to verify.

We do not eat much foie gras but after reading other's reviews we decided to try it. He had the cold, while I had the warm and both were delicious. The pre-dinner cocktails were also... More

Beautifully decorated, great atmosphere. The food was spectacularly good; starters of crab and avocado, and marinated salmon in sesame seeds were gorgeous, while the mains- veal with a lovely jus and ballotine of skate wing- were absolutely knock out! Great wine, amazing desserts, very friendly service. €130 for 2 people; 3 courses, coffee and bottle of Chablis. We will definitely... More

Found by accident because of a sudden rain shower. Bless that rain. Went in for a drink to escape the shower and ended up staying till the small hours. On the recommendation of the barman who we joked must be bias when we asked if the food was good my friend and I had a most wonderful meal. Crab mousse... More

We loved our lunch at Pamela Popo!! Our waiter was soo nice!! I had the fish which was so tasty and beautifully presented. My 2 girls (16 year olds) had the steak with delicious au gratin potatoes .. Spiced just right! The restaurant wasn't busy due to construction in the area so our waiter was able to chat with us.... More

just a brief mention of this place. We called here one very hot day in Paris, and sat at one of the tables outside on the pavement. We decided on cocktails as it was our last night in Paris before heading of to Milan the following morning. The service was great and so were the nibbles provided but the best... More

Great menu, the service was great and the restaurant was mostly filled with locals. Make sure you have dessert as well.

We received a very warm welcome. The food was great and the service was good as well. The main dish was excellent and you should really not miss the dessert. Spoiler alarm: The name is coming from a song of Serge Gainsbourg.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
