Had lunch (crepes) at West Country Girl one day before hitting up Pere Lachaise cemetery. Shared a savory (eggs, bacon, mushrooms) and a sweet (apples, caramel, vanilla ice cream). Both enjoyable especially as we don't normally eat a lot of crepes. WCG is not easy to find as it's in a passage (like a cul de sac).

Recently this has frequently been cited as one of the best crêperies in Paris. So I sought it out, which was not easy as it is in an extremely charming but somewhat remote parts of Paris. And it is perfectly acceptable. But it is not necessarily the best place to get a crêpe in Paris, although I can imagine passing... More

This tiny crêperie has me in two minds; on the one hand, my gallette was much better than the one I had at Crêperie Josselin. The crêpe itself was smooth and crispy, the filling perfect. I had cheese, emmental, and mushrooms, and it was delicious. On the other hand, my crêpe au caramel et beurre salé was a little over-cooked... More

Go early, have the fixed price lunch with drink, leave happy. The flavors of crepes are great. Enough said.

We didn't have the required reservation for this little spot....but he sat us at the counter. A shining egg yolk on our crispy, burnt at the edges crepe. Very tasty cider from Brittany. Sweet caramel and lemon dessert crepes to top it off. A nice cheerful oasis after the depressing Pere Lachaise.

We stopped in here after exploring Pere Lachaise. It took us about fifteen minutes to walk, exiting from the northwest corner of the cemetery. It's well worth finding this spot as the crepes are cooked perfectly and all our fillings were tasty.

West Country Girl changed hands recently. Pity, because it was outstanding on several previous visits. Not so, now. Gluey crepes are not good. Put some care into what comes out of the kitchen please. I might give it another try, but there are a couple of other good crepe places and WCG is farther than any of them. Sadly, the... More

This classic West French restaurant was referred by David Leibowitz. In this instance, he was spot on. West Country Girl is a great intimate crepes restaurant . The crepes are carefully prepared and are very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed many meals here and look forward to the next. Ask what happened to the pistol... More
