A great find away from the hustle of Blvd. Montparnasse, but just around the corner. Small bistro with great ambiance. Mostly locals, with a few tourists (us.) Tables are small, elbow-to-elbow room, but nobody seems to mind! The hostess was wonderful, helping us navigate through the short, but very tempting, menu. And her wine suggestions were dead on!

Excelent choice. Made posible only because Alina was friendly enough to translate the menu for us. She spoke Spanish and English so that made our day. Service was excellent and food quality and quantity sufficient. Wine prices were very reasonable for the 2 bottles we had. No rush service and attended every request made by any of the 4 in... More

This was a great pick for our first evening in Paris. I recommend a reservation, as people were turned away because every table was full. The menu is in French, but our charming server was willing to go through every item with us to translate it to English (fortunately, we recognized enough of the food words that this was abbreviated).... Incredibly busy buzzy restaurant but not relaxing! I was facing the open kitchen ( my partner wasn't and definitely an advantage!) so I could see the conveyor belt type service with some food always waiting to be collected next to the sink where dishes were being washed up a great speed - efficient but not as hygienic as one would... We walked in as it was near our hotel. Friendly staff, menu and drink prices. We wanted a bit of French food for our last night in Paris and this little Bistro did not disappoint.

All our dishes were savory and fresh, you can tell they choose the ingredients carefully. Reasonably priced. We had a vegan with us and they went out of their way to accommodate. Friendly staff.

We turned up here on a Saturday night without reservations, but we're happily accommodated on a shared table. The food was delicious, the atmosphere fun and friendly, and the staff were very patient with our language limitations. Highly recommended!

I went to Bistrot des Campagnes a few weeks ago with two friends. We all had the risotto to start, which was definitely the best part of the meal. I had the chicken and pasta as my main course. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The chicken was ok, but it was a little dry. The service was good and... More
