Just passing through Paris for one night we were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel. As we passed the end of Rue Traversiere we noticed Le Pellicano. Being lovers of Italian food we decided to go and see what it had to offer. We were given a very warm welcome and the place was buzzing, a real Italian... More

After a long day spent at Versailles, this was a cozy spot to have dinner, which was a short walk from our hotel. I have to say we saw a lot of Italian restaurants in Paris, but this one was very good! We had a party of 6 and had wonderful and friendly service. I recall that everyone in our... More

We were a big company of ten, whereof five kids. Everybody was extremely satisfied, the food was delicious, real italian pizzas, pastas, gnocchi, carnes etc. The staff is soo attentive and friendly. Felt like sitting in grandma's kitchen!

Tucked down a side street and covered in scaffolding ! We were staying at the Holiday Inn Bastille. Before our trip we looked on tripadvisor for ideas on restaurants near by (near Gare de Lyon) and found 'Le Pellicano'. Straight across the road from hotel less that 50 yards. tripadvisor spoke well so we chanced it. Not the most inviting... More

Last night in Paris we discovered this little gem. They have the most reasonable prices, e tensile menu from pizzas to carbonara sauces and veal dishes. Elegantly simple, fresh and tasty. With wine, dessert and two gorgeous meals....45 euros. Even had unusual bread and wonderful de or. The hotel above had scaffolding enshrouding the place but we found it nonetheless.... More

Busy retaurant but the service was way too slow and appeared to be understaffed. I had the calamari fritti as a strater and then the Spag Frutti di mare which I enjoyed.

It's always difficult for an italian to find a good pizzeria abroad. Honestly my experience so far were awful and i was sceptic to choose this place but it was very close to our hotel so we tried. I was positively suprised to see the quality of their pizza, quite nicem well cooked and they even had mozzarella di bufala... More

Traditional Italian restaurant. The food was good and the service was prompt. A meal for four - two adults and two teenagers - didn't break the bank. Enjoyable experience, would eat here again.
