I loved the dishes selection, the glass jars as well. Real food at affordable prices in a small but pretty nice restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maybe the portions are small but everything was delicious. Oh la la!!!

Loved the concept of this place. You choose the dishes you want in a cafeteria style way then pay and the food is heated for you. The food is served in these great jars as well. Very tasty gourmet meals at reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful also. Give it a go instead of the tired overpriced overrated... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The only reason it doesn't receive a 5/5 is due to the smaller, traditional French portions. The food was so tasty that we made a point of going back a second time. The prices are also reasonable and the staff is friendly. Great for a quick lunch on the go.

In search of somewhere not too expensive to eat after a cinema near the Opéra, I tried out Boco (one of three branches). Its formula is to offer creations by starred chefs - starters and main courses - which are served in glass jars to be heated for you on the spot or to take home. This place is modern... More

This place is famous as it offers gourmet takeaway food by some of Paris' top younger chefs, so you go and they give you a basket, and you fill it up with little jars that are cold. They can heat up for you, and you can eat there or you can take away. As the jars are not disposable, they... More

We went here with great expectations. I was looking forward for the vegetarian dishes. But I was disapointed. Originaliteit concept, but pricey.

http://www.boco.fr/ Always wondering why this pace near Opéra de Paris can be empty...even on a saturday evening. Maybe because the food comes out of little glass pots? Probably...it is however really good food and the ambianc is not too bad either. A clear reccom. cheers

I followed various comments on TripAdvisor as i was traveling with the kids in Paris. I selected bistrot on the search button and got a hit for this place. Read, i must say rather quickly through the comments, took a cab from the eiffel tower to this "bistrot". Al the food is packaged in trasparent plastic boxes or glasses. Cold... More

Boco is a play on the French word Bocaux which loosely means a glass "mason" style jar. 3 michelin star chefs contribute recipes which are premade in the sealed glass jars that one can browse in the coolers at the front - entrees, plats and desserts - some served cold and some to be heated and brought to your table.... This is a must go! It is a new (and unique) concept: well known chefs made recipes, using only local, seasonal, fresh, organic ingredients, and they made it daily, on a recipient called "boco". You get into the restaurant, no reservations, grab a nice picnic basket, cherry pic what you want as entree, main course and dessert, pay, and they... More
