This is a Gujerati restaurant just off Porte Maillot. A bit differ from the Bangladeshi run restaurants we normally find in the UK. I normally prefer true Indian and this was no exception. The Thali was v nice and the ambiance was good with open foots onto a quiet street. The half bottle of Touraine was chilled - a bit... More

Food is ok but service is just terrible. Not welcoming and not arranging. Restaurant to be avoided, except if you like rude people.

Quite a disappointing restaurant. Minimal amounts of chicken in the chicken madras. Sauce tasted bland, Naan was taste free... Service was very disorganised. Empty plates were left at our table for over an hour and were still there as we left... Don't eat there...

India is unfortunately a very disappointing Indian restaurant. The food was totally tasteless; from the naans to the curries, there was no flavor. The fresh coriander on the top of each dishes did not even hide the "from the microwave" cooking style. A real disappointment, I do not recommend.

Very nice Naan and all type of fish, chicken and Lamb. I had the lamb with coconut and curry. I know all my colleagues enjoyed their meals too. Service is great, waiters have a nice sense of humour.

Very quiet when we visited on a friday night 20:00, a bit of a worry. Food was very mediocre, seemed very limited choice of main meals, your basic korma, massala etc, in lamb, chicken or beef. Everything we had to eat, had the "out of the packet" taste to it. Chicken was all of uniform little chunks, as if from... More

This was a nice Indian restaurant. We had the butter chicken, a friend onion appetizer, fish curry, and chicken wings. We found it odd that dishes that clearly need rice, did not come with rice. You have to order it separateley. Otherwise, the food was good enough and the service was ezxcellent. Three point five stars--I will round up.

We recently moved to the 16eme in Paris and were looking for somewhere open on a Sunday evening. We found this Indian restaurant in the 17th and were delighted it had tables. There were 3 of us, my wife and I and our 14 year old son. Starters were the lentil soup with rice balls and the Chika Kabab. Loved... More

This little jewel has the whole package: location, decor, service and great food. Located two short blocks behind the Meridien Hotel; India Restaurant is easily accessible and in a clean and safe neighborhood. Walk in and be transported by the very authentic decor and aromas that will entice you to try a very diverse offering of authentic fare. The wait... More

Food was excellent really really tasty and well presented. Unfortunately the staff were very inattentive even though the restaurant was empty. Instead of taking your drinks order straight away they waited about 10 mins and took with the meal order. That said when you did order something it was brought straight away and staff were courteous and polite just not... More
