OMG - the desserts are to die for

I visited this quaint French bistro for a business lunch with a group of colleagues. In North America, lunch is something that we enjoy but we don't waste too much time. We eat, we enjoy, and we get back to work. This was completely different. I really enjoyed the wines, the French cuisine (my... read more

A small restaurant next to the former Paris stock exchange. I liked the country style cuisine: andouillette, Lyon style sausage and so on at a reasonable price. The atmosphere there is like in a good old bistro.

We had a very tasty dinner here, the service is friendly and helpful and the food was great. They even have some good beer, which makes a nice change. Would recommend this place for a quiet dinner or a dinner with friends.

I have now been to this restaurant once on each of my last three trips to Paris. I always enjoy my meal there. This time there was a new procedure and a mix-up but it worked out fine in the end. I made a reservation on La Fourchette for this restaurant which I had done in the past. This time,... More

This is a quaint back street very small French restaurant. I cannot expand any further than everything is excellent, the service, the food, (starters, main course and desserts) the atmosphere. All courses were plentiful and there was no rush with service or finishing. A very enjoyable meal and evening.

If your tired of paying 50 bucks for an appetizer at Paris tourist trap restaurants, ending up with a Bill in the hundreds of dollars, and returning to your hotel still hungry, make a reservation at Clementine. At 35 euros for an excellent and hearty 3 course French country meal Clementine is an unpretentious bargain. The restaurant is in a... More

Very typical french restaurant near the Grand Boulevard. Stay on the ground floor, avoid the 1st floor which is not very nice. The dessert was a bit disappointing as well as the quality of the bread.

This little restaurant was fantastic, it was small and very authentic and homely. Tried the garlic snails for starter, the first time I have ever tried snails, and I thought they were excellent. The chocolate soufflé desert was probably the best one I've ever had. The waiting staff were lovely & very helpful. I would definitely go back.

We asked our concierge for a recommendation for somewhere to eat. He booked us a table at Clementine, a 2 min walk from our hotel. I can't imagine anywhere more French, a beautiful, rustic bistro with amazing food and wine. I had a quenelles of salmon in lobster bisque and it was simply superb. The price was reasonable, probably half of... More

Ejoyed a very good meal in Paris when meeting up with an old friend. This was my first visit to Clementine, which was a reccomendation from a colleague. Restaurent had a certain rustic charm and fantastic food which was well priced. I chose one of the daily specials and was not disappointed. I am already thinking about planning return in... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
