A must-try restaurant when in Paris

Barbacoa is a nice and friendly restaurant in the very heart of Paris. The place is small with a tiny kitchen in the centre which allows good connection with the waiters and the chief. Staff is nice and welcoming. Now the meat: We came for that and were not disappointed: very generous quantities, perfect quality and cooking, very nice sides.... More

We had read the reviews for this place on this website and decided to give it a try. That was a great decision. The place is run by the owner-chef and his wife, who were the only ones working the night we were there. They are both Portuguese, and the food shares their flavor. They were friendly and funny and... More

I went here on a business trip last week and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! It is a cozy restaurant with a nice feel. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. I've spent a fair amount of time in Brazil and the food was authentic and just as amazing as any I... More

If you like a perfect piece of 'picanha' this is the right place. Also original rice and beans besides other brazilian side dishes. At the end don't miss 'mousse de maracujá' or 'quindim'.

I had the mixed grill. It seems you automatically get sides of rice and beans, sweet potato fries, and fried bananas. Everything was very tasty. I especially loved the beef, and the bananas. It was quiet when I went, so perhaps the service was a bit better due to this. Other reviews seemed to not like the service. It was... More

Interesting place. This is Brazilian place and it is not for vegetarians. Meat, meat and more meat. It is not a gourmet establishment. Positives: - This is a very small family kept establishment. Husband and wife are very lovely, you feel like a guest in their house vrs in the restaurant. They don't speak english - Meat was done well,... More

What a great little place this is (if you like meat!). I visited with a few colleagues and ordered the mixed grill and the food was just to die for. The variety of meats was wonderful and all perfectly prepared. Add to that all the other side dishes served with your mail, the very friendly service and reasonable price and... More
