Huge helpings, fabulous decor, loads of charm.

We remembered eating here on a previous visit, and stepped inside with a great deal of pleasurable anticipation. The décor is fantastic, like a riad, and the waiters very courteous. When you sit down, you feel as if this is bound to be a wonderful experience. My husband loved his meal with lamb on... read more

we had dinner here after doing a little search on the internet. We had couscous with meat and tangine. All was good and abundant, actually there were too muc of it, we could not finish all the couscous. The food is good (maybe a little bit 'anonymous', not particularly striking, but good) and the staff is nice and kind. Good... More

We were keen to find a restaurant that's still serving food past 2pm and something a bit more exotic than French food. We came to this restaurant through reading reviews on tripadvisor and we were happy we came. The Food was great! LARGE portions! My wife and I ordered an appetizer sampler + 2 main dishes and we could not... More

It took us quite some soul-searching to decide on which second Moroccan restaurant to visit during our 2-week stay in Paris, and we eventually settled on the Mechui du Prince, considering all the reviews, but also discarding a few other promising restaurants that did not care to indicate their prices in the on-line menu offerings - their loss, if I... Such a pretty restaurant! And the food and service to match. Substantial portions (alas, we had no room for dessert) and all so flavorful. We made a reservation, but we tend to eat early (7 pm) so we really didn't need to have done so. A delightful experience all around.

I have tried many Moroccan restaurants in Paris and I can say this restaurant is the good one, delicious food, a lot of amount food, very friendly service, and the interior let me feel I was in Morocco. I liked the fish tajin especially.

Visited over Easter time. They had run out of a starter we fancied, we then went only for the main, lamb tagine with semolina; big portion and very tasty and was more than enough. Service good and friendly. And we got a 30% discount booking through thefork/tripadvisor!

We were staying on rue Monsieur le Prince, and made an effort to eat in some of the restaurants on "our" street. Husband had never had couscous in Paris, so we decided to eat "ethnic" and give it a try. We got a seat before they filled up, and we settled in for a cozy meal. Husband had a couscous... More

One of the best restaurant in Paris! It's typically Moroccan restaurant, with so delicious plates, nice service and cozy atmosphere! It's our third time here and we are always pleasant!! I highly recommend it!

We went there just after new year's day, and were very well received by a friendly staff. We had appetizers,3 Tagines and 1 Couscous, an excellent Boulaouane red wine from Morocco, desserts, coffee. The tagines and the couscous were very good and there was quite enough to eat. We paid 150€ tax included which is very reasonable for the food... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
