I was not expecting much from this restaurant given its location, but I was very happily surprised. The meal was creative and delicious, without being too fussy and the service was very pleasant but not intrusive or obsequious. And the wine list, though short, was very good. I've been looking like a place like this for some time to replace... More

A small and minimalist restaurant very much to my taste. Found it as I was wandering down the street. Starter was Chicken Terrine which was served rustically out of a large metal pot, it was delicious served with rustic bread and a caramelised shallot. Main was Cote de Boef which, being English, I had 'a la point' and this did... More

Might not be improvised when you walk in ,very small restaurant ,excellent food if you like typical french gourmand . Go early to enjoy your meal and wine ,most of the time no tables . It's different but we enjoyed it.

Fish pulled right from the English Channel and expertly grilled with white asparagus. Generous portions. And more. Polite and attentive service. Very convenient location near the Palais Royal, Bourse and Louvre. And although the French are very fussy about reservations, this was the ONLY restaurant on my well-researched list of ten that ACTUALLY had an online reservation system. We liked... More

We went here on Saturday night, what a disappointment. First the good things, the service was polite and courteous. The room is quite pretty although it was pretty much empty when we arrived, at 20.00 on a Saturday ?. The menu is, theoretically interesting. The problem is, they can't cook, or at least not fish. My daughters Pigeon was actually... More

We were welcomed and accommodated with hospitality. The menu whilst slightly different than that on the website was most imaginative and bursting with flavours. The waiting staff were helpful and informed, we were offered a couple of different wines to taste before making our selection. I think the bill was around €130 and worth every cent. This is a definite... More

As our 3 course meal came to nearly 100 euro in total I was expecting the food to be impressive. The fish I ordered was well cooked but overall it was a pretty tasteless dish and the combinations didn't work for me. Same goes for the starter (the dessert was fine). I found it all slightly odd in general. I... More

The service in this little bistro was simply wonderful. We got talking about life in Paris, which was particularly helpful. All of the staff could not have been nicer. The food was challenging and intelligent. This might not be for everyone but it was great for me. I had snails for starter and the flavours were intense and well thought... More

Well known to local business men this little bistro is a delight. Once inside, the restaurant has a glass wall down one side which lets in light. The service was friendly and efficient. Great food cooked by the chef proprietor. The slow-cooked pork belly was magical! A most enjoyable lunch experience. On the list for my next visit to Paris.

We usually find good creative restaurants and good wine. this place was just ok, the place was empty , only one other table had a gentleman eating in . the service was attentive ,but we found the food , the viande to be dry and the fish not so good. in essence we had high expectations and there was nothing...
