Family review of l'Ange 20

Awesome food. My 11 year old daughter was with us and she had an appetizer and main course and raved about both. My husband and I also loved our meals. The restaurant is small but cozy. Allows you to socialize with other guests if you like. The service was great. Very friendly helpful waiter... read more

Went for an evening meal after exploring back streets of Paris. The place is small but very welcoming. Comprehensive menu and nice selection of wines. Reasonably priced and good place to eat. Overall, as in the title - pleasant.

Thanks to all you Trip Advisor reviewers we ate here. Wow what a treat! The server was friendly and eager to make you happy. The atmosphere is very very nice but not formal. The food was delicious and French. It wasn't the heavy French but still very delicious. We will definitely go back next trip.rice for two starters, two entree... More

Its very close to the Pompidou and small, but delightful. We have fond memories of our dinner there. We ate at more expensive places including a Joel Robuchon, but this place won us over with their effort and enthusiasm. The young team is charming and the food is very well prepared.

Make your reservations in advance so you don't miss out on a lovely dining experience. This 10 table restaurant is intimate, yet charming. Watching the chef, Thierry, and his staff work their magic makes the meal even more delicious. We had the 7-hour cooked lamb that was out of this world! Christophe, our waiter, expertly guided us in choosing the... More

This restaurant had been recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. The waiter was delightful, and helpful in his recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and every one in our party was delighted with their choice. The cost of the meal was reasonable, considering the quality of the meal. This is one restaurant I would certainly visit again!

This is a tiny place with few tables in the Marais. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is acceptably good but is not as dazzling as many TA reviews suggest. A good basic meal but not really all that special. Go, enjoy, but with realistic expectations.

Our most return to L'Ange 20 reminded us why it is at the top - it just belongs there. The food is creative, delicious, and exciting. The atmosphere is friendly, and competent, but not intrucive. It is tiny anc crowded, bit rumor has it that a larger space is in the work. We love everything about this restaurant and simply... More

Very small but great restaurant. Quite a limited but very interesting menu - my highlight was the 16 hour cooked lamb. The guy on front of house was great as well - very knowledgeable regarding the food and wines and being generally a great host. One thing to mention the restaurant is very small and can feel slightly claustrophobic at... More

Great atmosphere in this very cosy 20-seater. Staff is very pleasant and attentive. And the food is amazing (although chef might consider using less salt in future). One of our very best meals in Paris. Definitely recommended for an intimate evening

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
