Description: Situated on the Place du Marechal Juin in the heart of the 17th arrondissement, the Bistrot de l'Entrecte is a classic Parisian bistro where the meat is the star of the show. The typical bistro style menu offers traditional and inventive dishes such as potato salad with herring; lentil and crispy bacon salad; beef tartar; traditional stew; veal kidneys in Port sauce or scallops with tomato beurre blanc. The house speciality has to be the entrecte steak though, served with French fries and sauce. The Bistrot de l'Entrecte is a chic and modern restaurant that takes full advantage of its brightly lit dining room and also offers a superb terrace for sunnier days. Service is excellent and the team offers a warm welcome.

First time there in 1967. Has anything changed? No way. Same menu. Guess what? Yeah, Entrecote, and as good now as then. Timeless. Try to get the recipe for the fabulous salad dressing! You may get thrown out. That is a real trade secret. I'll be back there again for the umpties time.

It does exactly what is says on the tin. Excellent standard menu. Beautiful steak and chips, tasty salad and very good pudding choices. Lovely buzz/atmosphere, great location.

Really enjoyed the steak and chips. Taken by a Parisian local which is always a good indicator and was not disappointed. Great sauce with the steak but cannot remember its name.

With so many restaurants to pick from and having been very spoiled before, this one did not hit the high note we were hoping for. Service was good, location was good, close to the Metro Pereire but the food nothing special. Perhaps a US visitor appreciates the large volume of shoe string chips that come with the meals but I... We just ate at this lovely little restaurant for the second time during our stay - both times the food and service has been exquisite and we managed to squeeze in dessert tonight - I have never tasted anything as wonderful as the Creme Brûlée!

Having decided to treat ourselves to the famous entrecote we had previously enjoyed in Montpellier , we checked on the net and found this place! Nice looking restaurant but don't judge this book by its cover. We described the entrecote we had enjoyed previously elsewhere and were insured that we could have the same. Burnt steak, french fries that would have... More
