My husband and I don't normally eat meat while we are in Europe because we have generally found that it isn't their strong suit so we go for more locally oriented foods. However, we were staying in an apartment just a few doors down from Santa Carne. It was appealing from the window and the signage stated that they served... More

So you were looking for the best steak in Paris, eh? Who would've expected it would be at an Argentinian steakhouse tucked away in the Marais? Cooked to order and arriving on your plate with some gorgeous sauces -- which you will want to try all of them -- these steaks are beautifully prepared (the "lomo" is my personal favorite).... More

What a wonderful find! Great atmosphere, empanadas to die for and one of the best steaks any where. Very friendly, super service and comfortable. Will definitely return on our next trip.

Great parrillada in the Marais. Not too expensive and it does not make your short list or break the bank. Also, turn left towards Place des Vosges and you will see their (at least I think it is theirs) little shop with empanadas to-go. Try one with a glass of Argentine wine and finish off with an Alfajor. Quite authentic.

Santa Carne is an awesome Argentinian Grill in the heart of Le Marais. Outstanding customer service, great variety on the menu, tasty appetizers, fine meat, and flavory desserts are just some words to describe the restaurant. The prices are right for the quality of the food. I will definitely go back again.

I've had the pleasure of eating at Santa Carne on two occasions now and each time I have not been let down by the standard of the food. My personal recommendation would be the Chorizo followed by a Lomo fillet steak, washed down with a bottle of Malbek. Cooked medium it really is melt in your mouth stuff and all... More

An excellent Argentinian steak house in the Marais, not cheap but very high quality. The service was good as well, even though our waitress spoke little English and we speak virtually no French - we managed with a bit of Spanish to bridge the gap She did get our request for 'medium rare' wrong, but thankfully we were seated near...
