Absolutely the best of its genre!

The ambiance was superb...a bit of Recoleta in Paris. The food was excellent in presentation and taste and the service was friendly. The best meal of its genre outside of Buenos Aires. We were staying in the neighborhood and arrived around 8 PM when they start dinner service. It was a good time to... read more

The staff was polite. The food was good. Especially sauce chimichurri (the best one i have ever tasted so far, maybe needs just to be a bit pappery) The only thing that i refuse is that they will seat you anywhere. We have been seated literaly next to two couples which was appalling to us.

While the staff were very friendly, the experience was very disappointing: it took more than 30 minutes before our orders were taken, and another 10 minutes before we got something to drink. While they promote their cocktails, the waiter told us they didn't serve cocktails that evening because it was too busy - only for us to see another table... More

A cosy argentinian style restaurant with a nice atmosphere and with a very good quality food. The staff is very kind and nice and the dishes are elegantly served. Wines are very good, we took a famous wine from Chile which I like a lot.

I usually eat it well done, but opted for rare this time. It is unnecessary to use the selection of sauces they provide : the meat if full of flavour and does not need them. Also, you can tell the meat is NOT hormone-injected commercial stuff. This is the real deal. Will be back for more. Thanks guys!

I took my friend here for his birthday last night and it was simply delicious with a fantastic atmosphere. We started we empanadas that were so flavoursome, particularly the beef one and the chicken one. We also had chorizo, which was also good. Fantastic! As others have said, the main course is simple and mostly steak with salad and potatoes,... More

Fantastic steaks, very friendly staff! All the way from Argentina. Go taste it yourself. Don't forget dessert, especially the black orgasm.

Expecting to eat somewhere else after the opera but arriving early and it was full, we happened upon this unexpected restaurant offering Argentinian beef. Don't expect a lot of choice, nor a place for peaceful meal, but if you're happy to be cheek by jowl with the next table and served reasonably fast by friendly staff, and if you love... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
