My daughter and I had lunch at Sola in June. It was absolutely perfect and well worth the care we took making the reservation. Lunch, from our point of view, is an extraordinary value. The beautiful procession of delicious courses, the flawless and friendly service, atmosphere, pleasant guests around us... all just right. This is a marvelous place for that... More

It is one of the rare cases to find a perfect French Japanese fusion , the menu is perfect from start to end and leaves you with a notion of happiness. The location is clearly a misfit and not in line with the modernity of the food

Great ambience, 10 courses of awesome food, impeccable service, great sake, love the interior and great value for the meal. Try it for yourself and you will be smiling. :) Best French Japanese cuisine.

Dined here on the 17th May 2014.We were seated upstairs in the main room,in a corner table which was excellent for watching plus it was at the window. We were told that their was no menu and that the food was to the chefs choice, which i though was a great choice. We started with 4 different appetisers, which were brilliant, followed by a... More

our table was in the japanese room which was very special, we even had to take off our shoes and were given comfy sleepers. we were told that we will be served a surprise menu so all. we had to do is pick out the wine (excellent red wind cote the rousillion from provence). each and every dish was amazing!... What a wonderful meal. Not really a Japanese/French fusion fare, but define Japanese ingredients and flavouring influence. Maybe fusion with a small “f”. There was no menu or a la carte card. Only one set “menu” available that day based on what the chef wished to prepare. Nothing else available – so you place yourself in the hands of the... More

My wife and I were at Sola for lunch. It was a six course meal and it was incredible. It's been a month since we've been there and I can still remember each course. This is truly a dining experience. The amount of work that goes into each dish is absolutely amazing. It's close to Notre Dame and would definitely... More

We went for lunch on May 1st (big national holiday), and the basement, with Japanese-style seating, was pleasantly filled with French people - a good sign. The only offering that day was a set menu - no choice or knowledge of what was coming. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautiful, though less Japanese in flavor profile and preparation than we... More

I was told that the menu was Japanese but with a more Paris modern take and that is what it was. The food was excellent and the dining experience was perfect. Well worth a visit if you line Japanese food but would like to try more creative menus but with the traditional ingredients. It's not cheap but definitely worth the... More
