Stunning

Wonderful tasting menu for lunch. Dishes were as visually stunning as they were delicious. Highly recommend.

French-Japanese fusion is usually far more impressive than what we tried at Sola. The portions were far too small to enjoy and decipher between flavors and I'm sorry to say but nothing was challenging or new or original in terms of taste. Everything was lovely to eat and the presentation exquisite but not exceptional enough for a €250 bill for... More

It's been more than a year since I've visited Sola, but to this day my mouth still waters from the memory of the fantastic dinner I had in this Michelin-star restaurant. I've been to Paris quite a number of times for more than a decade now and this is definitely THE best meal I've ever had in this city. Pricey?... More

It is hard to summarize a perfect experience, because I would have to explain every dimension of perfection. Moreover, if you wanna go for this place, it should be a surprise - don't read too much the details. But to point out the best of the best: - The place (ask for "salon japonais") is uncommon, quiet and stylish -... More

Had a spectacular lunch here whilst on holiday. Sola is tucked away a few blocks from Notre Dame, and is worth seeking out. You can only order one of the tasting menu options when dining here, but not a single one of the courses disappointed. Everything was perfectly portioned, and it felt like just the right amount of food for... More

This was a night to remember. They called it a surprise menu and the food was just amazing. We had a few dinners at Michelin star restaurants around the world and the chef in Sola deserves two or three stars!!!!. What an experience. We LOVED it. Thank you for an unexpected surprise.

Back in March 2013, I went solo for lunch at Sola. I was impressed by the chef's creativity and his concoction of using different plant based ingredients and his presentaion was great. Then I was welcomed by an dark hair Maitre d who was very personable and sincere. He even asked me to say hello to the Chef when I... More

This was food cooked, presented and served with care We had the lunch menu- no choices, but modification to cater for my allergy without any problems. We had a bottle of Sancerre and really enjoyed our meal, which represented good value for Paris (around 165 EUR for 2)

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
