e hostess welcomed us with a smile. The food was prepared with love, care, and the best ingredients. Just a perfect tiny and elegant room with an aura of good work done with delight and fine food offered without any attitude of preciousness. Quiet and charming surroundings. Chic without being a slave to fashion. tel 0142602324. email: au35@orange,fr

Expensive if you don't order the price-fixe

This was our most expensive meal in Paris. The service did speak some english, but translating the menu was painful. I recognized the risotto on the menu and ordered it. It was good, but should not have been 26.50 euros. My wife liked her duck (24.50). Beers were reasonable. Desserts in... read more

We walked by this place several times on our way to dinner at other places and decided to try it on our last night in Paris. It was quite nice and compared to other dinners on our trip relatively inexpensive. Menu is a mixture of styles of cuisine. I had a chicken pastry that was sort of Morrocan. My spouse... More

It was on the late side of lunchtime on a rainy Sunday afternoon when we entered this small bistro. We were hungry and worried that it had stopped its service. Fortunately, this was not the case. The friendly server let us choose a table, and we proceeded to have a lovely lunch. My wife and I both had the duck... More

Over the last few years we have stayed in Hotel Danube in St. Germain des Prés. Donner time we like to have good food but do not want to go far from sour hotel. Last year find this quite small restaurant hardly 5 minutes walk from our Hotel. We had Gigo d'agneau and saumon de Norvège grillée. Both came with... More

Stumbled across this lovely little bistro when looking for a casual dinner on our first night in Paris. Not disappointed...friendly service, well cooked food, good value for money.

Stopped into Au 35 for dinner and had a great time. We selected the fixed price menu with a glass of wine. Very nice, tasty food with pleasant service. Good value and it hit the spot!

Everything there is 30% more tahn other places. The fiid quality is just ok. But when the bill time is coming you will feel it. Service (waitress/waiter) are good and have to say it is warm and friendly. Much other places are better in term of French Cuisine and presentation/taste. If your hotel is around, take a cab and go... More

The servers here are very friendly and the food is simple and cooked beautifully. I had a salad to start and then fish with a butter sauce and steamed vegetables to follow. The fish was perfectly cooked. I would be happy to come back next time I am in Paris.

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
