Charming, Tiny, Fabulous

We had a very special dinner and evening at Restaurant Mariette. They have been open for 5 years. The night we were there most guests were Americans but it is not touristy. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The foie gras appetizer is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. A... read more

This cute and small restaurant in a quiet street close to the Eiffel is definitely worth a visit. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wines served were also heavenly! The guys from our table enjoyed calvados, which we also managed to purchase and take back home from the small wine shop recommended by the hosts of the restaurant. Despite... More

This little restaurant on Rue Bosquet (Not Avenue Bosquet!) is a little gem. The hosts Marcela and Alfredo are simply lovely. The food was very good and for haute cuisine reasonably priced. My husband and I had the fried foie gras to start and I followed with the grey sea bream while my husband had the chicken with black rice... More

The young couple who run this restaurant are dedicated to fine food and service. The crab in a spinach sauce was inspired. The lamb was exquisite, and the mille feuille was heavenly. A small, simple restaurant where the focus is on the food with an excellent wine menu. You will not be disappointed.

It is worth any time and trouble to get to Mariette. It is small, so you need reservations. The hostess is a delight! And it is just off rue Cler which is a fun area to walk through.

My husband and I ate at Mariette on our first night in Paris last week. The meal was incredible. He loved his braised oxtail starter and my foie gras ravioli was the best appetizer I've ever had. I literally wanted to lick the plate. He then had the lamb loin stuffed with chorizo and I had the sole. Both were... More

We made a late decision and were very lucky to get in at 9pm. It was a celebration for my 70+ birthday and 4 of us enjoyed the best food in Paris. The food, presentation and taste was excellent at a reasonable price for such high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
