Came here for the 'best croissants in Paris 2012' (as awarded to the bakery last year). The croissants were indeed lovely - soft and buttery on the inside but without the greasy feel, and just crisp enough on the outside. The best in Paris though? Hmmm, maybe, but I feel like I've had better before. What I REALLY loved though... More

Really enjoyed the pastries and the tea. The service was friendly and efficient and the lady even was kind enough to let me order in my awful french!

I happened by this shop on a walk not far from my hotel. After seeing the sign(in French) that Laurent Duchene was an MOF and produced the best croissant in 2011, I had to try it. I had a croissant(truly buttery and flaky- not like anything here), and later two pastries(with my husband) a vaniila eclair and a wonderful layered... More
