I trust TA to get me to the best places during my vacations and I'm rarely disappointed with the guidance. However Chez Gabrielle was the rare occasion where I'm wondering 'what were they thinking?' The food was overly decadent and yet managed to lack flavor. We added salt to both our main dishes. The scallops that everyone raves about were... More

This is a place worth a visit. It is quite small so booking is required. The menu is a bit limited but I believe sufficient (meat, fish, pigeon). Food is of very high quality and beautifully served. Typical French excellence. I had the tuna which was incredible. Desserts were also outstanding. (poached fruit, sorbet). I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and... More

The perfect welcome to Paris for 4 Americans with little French language! Warm cozy restaurant with great wine selection and menu. Outstanding meals: cod, sea scallops...and dessert were yummy.

Thanks to Tripadvisor, we chose Chez Gabrielle for our first dinner in Paris. Everything about the restaurant was excellent. The service was flawless and friendly. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. Most of the customers were locals, so the restaurant is obviously a favorite of Parisians. We had the fixed price menu and it was superb! Hats off... A small restaurant where you still have space and not on top of each other. Service was perfect and food was even better. Host was kind and answered any questions. On the night we had dinner I would guess 1/3 were tourist and the rest locals. Never were we made to feel like tourist in city that seems to have... More

We met friends staying at the Meridian Etoile at Chez Gabrielle (we found it on Trip Advisor) and had such a fabulous meal there - one of our best during our month in Paris - that we returned for another. Everything was perfect each time. Service, atmosphere, and fine, creative, gourmet food. You will love it!

Enjoyed a lovely evening in this warm & cosy restaurant with my good friends Forrest & Linda. The staff was friendly and professional, the service was very good and the food was delicious. This restaurant is located on a quiet street near l'Arc de Triomphe (and parking is close by). Can't wait to return.

went here to celebrate my birthday having read the excellent tripadvisor reviews and wasn't disappointed . The place is intimate but not too close to others and the choice of food for as only fish eaters was excellent. Because it was my birthday I was given a single red rose in a small silver tub by Gabrielle---what a lovely thought.... More

A friend (who travels a lot!!!!!) told me that this was her favorite restaurant in Paris. Wow!!! What a glowing recommendation. Upon arrival I was surprised by the size, very, very tiny. Of course that made for an intimate dining experience. My friend told me that it was a husband and wife running it and amazingly the owner even remembered... More
