Ok.

Great location, the inside is cosy and inviting, so is the staff. The food is what bothered me more... I had a tomato avocado and king shrimps for starters, the latter were way overcooked therfore tasteless and squishy, then I had a honey duck magret with mashed potatoes, which had a slight crust... read more

Stumbled across this restaurant while walking around the area looking to have dinner. The menu looked good so we decided to give it a try. We chose the three course set menu and the choices available for each course were very nice. Wasn't cheap but certainly wasn't expensive either compared to some other places nearby. Service was warm and attentive...... More

Excellent value and food in the heart of the Marais. Everyone at our table loved their meal and the price was quite reasonable.

Small restaurant in the Jewish quarter, clearly popular with all ages. Small menu, not expensive and good basic food. One remarkably good humoured waiter dealt efficiently with a packed restaurant and also managed to seem to help the overworked kitchen staff as well.

At E27 for two courses, this was a little more expensive than a bistro but it was more elegant and interesting food. eg: Coquilles St Jacques was served with tiny matching rounds of seafood risotto and finely chopped leeks - dainty but satisfying. We hadn't room for a dessert: 3 courses would be E32.

Loud and warm and dark and inviting, this place was everything we wanted for a date night in Paris. The food was fantastic, the waiter was exactly the right level of attentive, and the location was really nice.

I thought i was on my way to a magical experience at the Art Kitchen only to find it closed. This wss picked by the rest of yhe party after my choice turned up with the lights off. The menu was similar to s lot of the restaurants in the area. We followed the lead and ordered foie gras and... More

This was a cute little restaurant that we came across on a sidestreet in Marais. Tables were very close together but that was the restaurant's style and the atmosphere was lovely, and both are waiters were very welcoming and charming. The food was excellent; my fiancée had the avocado bake starter and I had the foie gras - not a... More

Like so many restaurants in Paris, a usual list of suspects on the menu with absolutely no imagination or flare in preparation. This is utilitarian get-them-in get-them-out lazy fair. The one dish on the menu that sounded interesting came with half it's components missing. When questioned, the kitchen had run out. A glass of almost completely tasteless wine as compensation.... I was in the restaurant tonight and the experience was really bad. I went back because I had a very good memory from last winter but situation has seriously changed. First, they take forever to even take your order. Then entry took another half and hour to arrive and it was not very fresh. Then the white wine was warm... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
