Late afternoon lunch here was nice. It is fairly expensive, particularly the wine and especially for the look and feel of the place but the service was welcoming and efficient. The food was nice, the creme brûlée was divine!

I was very disappointed with the service and the food here. It was our first night in Paris and we did not investiage as effectively as we did the rest of the weekend. My partner ordered a well done steak, my friend and I ordered medium steaks and my sister had the chicken. The only steak that had any blood... More

For the service you get, your money is better spent elsewhere. All of the starters in their oh-so attractive 16 euro menu are a waste of your time. Had I known I would've just taken the main course and dessert. Meal was average, do NOT ask for the turkey/dinde, the steak looked okay but a little thin. For a cafe... More

We were very hungry walking around Paris to see the Eiffel Tower at night and (unbelievably) could not find anywhere to eat when we stumbled on this place. We saw it and thought, this will do! Well, it turned out to be the best carbonara either of us have ever had! Our waiter was a bit grumpy in a charming... More

Don't be fooled by the theory that all french brasseries serve great food and that Parisian people are rude. This restaurant totally contradicts both of those prejudices! We couldn't fault the service which was excellent but the food was average. We ordered the vegetable soup for starters and the Cote de Beouf for main. The soup was ok, if anything... More

Yes, we ate here twice during our recent stay in Paris. Still as good as it was last time we came. It's a pity more visitors don't find it, as it's just slightly off the beaten track, in Avenue de Suffren, but only a five minute walk if that from the Eiffel Tower. Full of locals both evenings which says... More

Good honest little brasserie in the 15th. The steak tartare is one of the best in the area and the plate of the day is always good value. Skip dessert and go for the cafe gourmand !!

As a food and wine writer, I have been in many places. Paris is one of my favorite cities because of the diversity of cultures I can find, on less crowded residential areas. The restaurant Le Beaujoulais, on Ave. Suffren, has on its menu the local flavors, very fresh ingredients, nice wines and great service. I have been there twice,... More

We had walked from neighborhood 1 to the Eiffel Tower and were looking for a nice mid-afternoon meal option. This restaurant is 2 streets past the mall where the Eiffel Tower stands. We were looking for restaurant we had research on Trip Advisor, only to find it not open (we were there between lunch and dinner service) when we came... More
