The best simple french cuisine

I went there with a business friend for dinner. The food was very good and they had a good selection of wine too. The service was good too. It is a great restaurant and I will always return.

The hygiene of any restaurant is usually represented by that of its rest room: well, the hygiene of the rest room of La Table du Vin Vignon was appalling to say the least and actually put us off our dinner, which anyway was terrible. In a few words: the rest room very dirty and appeared to have been unkept for... More

I went there with a few friends for lunch a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the food. The place is quiet, cute and has a nice french bistro ambiance. I went back this week for dinner and like it even more! Ps - the creme caramel is to die for!

We stumbled upon this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Every course was excellent and the place is charming, especially if you can sit outside. The service was very good considering the place was full and there was only one server. We would definitely return.

I visited this restaurant in late September midweek. There were three of us for lunch. We had a reservation, but one really wasn't necessary. The restaurant was busy, but not overcrowded. First impressions? The ambience was very 'French' - which usually screams 'tourist trap' to me in Paris, but we were definitely the only Anglophones present. The other diners seemed... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
