Upon entering your establishment we were greeted by an abrupt and rude hostess. As we were with our Parisian friend who highly recommended this restaurant we were very disappointed with the service and especially with the host (blond hair). Would not recommend this!!!

We have dined at Le Dome several times now, and it never disappoints. The welcome is warm, the service impeccable but not overly formal, and the food is wonderful. And the setting of course is spectacular. What more could one ask?

This restaurant is a pearl. The setting is a historical building in the heart of the Marais. Food is delicious. I had the beef tartare with a tinge of Thai flavor, by far the best tartare I ever tasted. Wife had fish that was melting in her mouth and the appetizers were also top notch. French cuisine at its finest,... More

Not much is open on a Sunday evening, so we decided to go to the Dome du Marais for the first time in years. Great renovations and comfortable seats but on a warm evening the a/c was struggling in the central dining hall. We were re-seated near the entrance by the very considerate staff and dined in comfort. Food rather... More

Was there for a dinner with a colleague - great atmosphere, amazing settings, stylish. Unfortunately food was just "OK" for me and not good for my colleague who went for a Beef Tartare. With a better cook, I would go again! Or I would be ready to pay a bit more for better food. Wine was reasonably priced

I was told that it used to be a church. The dome ceiling is magnificent. Interior decoration is elegant. Sufficient space between tables. Advance booking is needed especially during the fashion week. Many fashionable people, buyers around the world are always dined there. Service is just so so, waiters are not attentive. They looked at us in a strange way... More

The Dome is a special location; just walking in feels like you've stumbled across some hidden gem; some secret spot. The service was excellent and welcoming. The food was great and plenty of wine choices that didn't break the bank. And oddly enough, my friend and I realized our check was only a few Euros more than eating at some... More

We booked this restaurant after friends recommended it to us. We were looking forward to celebrating my wife's birthday with ou whole family. They confirmed a party of 5 for Saturday night May 31st. Then on the 29th they sent me an email canceling it, eventhough they re-confirmed it a week earlier. I guess somebody more important showed up!

We came to le dome last week as a group of 4 Australians, enthusiastic to see the famous dome and enjoy some delicious French food. How disappointed we were. First of all the service was simply appalling, unfriendly, doing the bare minimum and clearly they did not care if we were enjoying the meal at all. After serving us our... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
