One of the best meals we have ever had!

My wife and I got a place for the Valentines tasting dinner. It was a special treat for us - as we are both very particular about restaurants (both good cooks!). It couldn't have been a more amazing night. The food was stunning - simply never had anything like it. It was a complete masterclass from... read more

Highly recommended, this was one of the best dinners ever: from the superb setting, the gorgeous food (both tasty and very nicely presented), the amazing service, the exhaustive wine list and the excellent value for money. Overall = 10/10, not to be missed.

Our dinner at Ciasa Mia was excellent! The food is exquisite, fancy but tasty! All the dishes were beautifully presented. Also, Erika, who was attending us, was very kind and explained all the details regarding the dishes served.

What a lovely eveing we had at Ciasa Mia. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left we couldn't fault a thing. The restaurant itself is lovely, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. We don't speak French or Italian but the staff went above and beyond to describe the... Wow!! Just wow!! We're not expecting such a lovely place, staff and food! Not the kind of Italian we normally go. But we were very excited and I can say that this restaurant was the highlight of our honeymoon meals in Europe! All plates were DELICIOUS!!!

This is a charming, cozy restaurant in the heart of Paris. The food is very well prepared and presented. This is classic northern Italian cuisine updated with modern touches and flavor combinations by the imaginative owner/chef. The professional but modest serving team are warm, friendly and willing to explain the dishes as you work through the French/Italian/English discussion. We had... More

When in Paris... DO NOT eat at Ciasa Mia. Seriously, don't. Overpriced, awfully rude service and the food was not only served cold but it was not good at all. As a matter of fact, none of us liked our food and we all ordered different things. Our server, who happened to be the owner, refused to make suggestions claiming... More

I had dinner at Ciasa Mia yesterday evening with a friend. I did not know the restaurant before and chose it mainly due to its location since it was close to the hotel where my friend is staying. Ciasa Mia is a relatively small and intimate restaurant with a very nice rustic decor and a fireplace that gives the setting... More

Three days later and we're still in awe of the beautiful meal we enjoyed at Ciasa Mia. This has been the best meal we have ever had (and we have had our share). Beautiful presentation of magnificant flavours of everything Italy has to offer. Presentation is very French haute cuisine but with the simplicity of Italian food. Great wines, lovely... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
