An average lunch

we went for lunch with family and a friend on Bastille Day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe is very pleasant but was very hot inside with only limited outside tables. There seemed to be an A/C but it was not operating. Except for the crepes suzette which was excellent, we all... read more

Cheeseburger is amazing the meat is unique. The pasta with prawns is delight. The interior is well preserved. The staff is helpful. The wc is fair hygiene. The price is fair for the place. Recommend

We went there after a concert at the across the street Folies Bergeres., around 23:00+ Friendly welcome. Wide menu where everyone could find his prefered food. Quick service. Good music, not too loud. Nice surprise : good quality. The prices were reasonable. I decided to make this positive review because i felt the overall experience was qualitative, which is not... We are staying just down the road from Folies Cafe and were walk-ins during their busiest pre show time, but were greeted warmly and seated in a great spot almost immediately. What an atmosphere - great music, lighting and local Parisiene crowd. Although we were clearly tourists, we felt welcomed and the waiter and waitress were lovely. A shared starter,... More

They will charge you as much as they can for as little food as possible. Order wine and they will bring you more expensive one. Charge any extra that should be free

I was in France for 14 days and let me tell you it was one of the best restaurants I’ve tried. Good Menu and Wine List. If you in the area (Montmartre) – just go for lunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed. Also, prices is very good $$

Loved everything about this place, we had a very friendly and helpful waitress, nothing was type much trouble. The cocktails and food were we're excellent, would definitely recommend trying the Escargots and the filet de boeuf with foie gras sauce.

Facing the famous Folies Bergeres theatre they call themselves a café but it is more a Bistro / Brasserie à la Française. Typical red and black déco, very nicely done and very comfortable, they have different spaces that accomodate everything from lone eaters to medium size groups and this without one bothering the other, quite clever. The service, without being... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
