I wish I'd never given a 5 star review before, because I need some way to differentiate this meal from the rest!

During a market tour near the Bastille we heard good things about this restaurant and the owner Virginie. We made reservations and when we showed up the place was totally packed. It took about ten minutes for a table to clear, during which Susan and I walked around the neighborhood a bit. The... read more

We went here for lunch. It was delightful. We found the food excellent. Husband and I shared a brûlée for dessert which was wonderful. Our dishes were great, wished we had time to go back again as the food others were eating seemed We were made to feel welcome despite arriving late. Lovely chat with the waitress, who may have... I visited this restaurant a few years ago. I could not wait to back. On return it has been renovated and has a new owner. What has not changed is the excellent service food and value!! This restaurant is a must visit of you are in Paris. Will be back soon!

The evening started well and the choices on the menu looked good. I would like to say the male waiter who served us most of the evening was very nice, although he made the biggest mistake of the evening. The lady who we believed to be the owner was consistently rude and unhelpful. The first point of annoyance, although not... More

I'm really sorry for the disappointment but I think you didn't understand what happen that night and Marie Louise apologize for the misunderstanding. You asked for a Duck and a terrible mistake happen and we serve you a veal kidney. You notified it and we proposed you another plate. You refused! And I'm so sorry but we are human being... More

We chose this resto becsuse it has a BIB Goumand, that means Guide Michelin recommends it because they have a fixed menue for 30 euros, and grest value for money. It's a tiny resto, and the tsbles are so close that you have to ssy hello to the neighbours. We enjoyed the fish and salad as a starter. Great wine... More

A tiny but cosy restaurant hidden in an alley. The host speaks great English with good service. The food was excellent. The crime brûlée was amazing. Can't comment on the price as we weren't sure on Paris prices yet. But we felt that it was worth every euro!

This is not the most beautiful restaurant in Paris, but the food is great, prices reasonable and the staff (owners?) very friendly. The place was packed when we were there, and as it is small, you are very close to your neighbours. Cozy!

Choose this place from the reviews! Was not disappointed! The food was prepared to perfection! The waiters were friendly! And the setting was small but cozy! I'm definitely going back on my next visit.

This restaurant is small and off a quant street near the canals. The food is exceptional. This is a Bib Gourmand and is well deserved. Our prix fixe luncheon was delicious. The crustacean bisque was done in a cappuccino style with crisp croutons and the for gras terrine were richly flavored and wonderful to the palate. Our main courses were... More

We found this gem of a restaurant one evening when I was surfing food reviews and wanted to try the Canal St. Martin area. We had an outstanding meal and my husband still raves about the house pate as a starter. It is a small place, friendly staff and a mix of locals and some tourists. I have recommend this... More
