We were visiting the Canal St Martin district and found this wonderful gem just a few minutes walk away from our apartment. We each had three courses from a limited, freshly cooked menu and every one was beautifully flavoured and presented - lobster bisque with a cappucino foam, a millefeuille of aubergine with a basil oil dressing, moist pink duck... I really enjoyed this restaurant. It is small and inviting. The service is excellent. The food was amazing. I had the eggplant appetizer, seafood ravioli and molten chocolate cake. Each one was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend!

The owner of this restaurant really enhanced our experience. As we are English speakers he kindly translated all the menu for us in detail and chatted graciously when he presented the food. I was delighted to eat at this authentic restaurant rather than some anonymous chain. The food was delicious- I had an aubergine stack to start, ravioli filled with... More

An hour after arriving in Paris on the Friday evening Eurostar we were greeted like long lost friends at this lovely restaurant. The very friendly and attentive host made us feel instantly at home and very welcome. Lovely food, great wines, excellent service, the perfect start to our Parisian weekend! Thank you for your hospitality Christophe.

If you can shut down all your senses, except taste, in this noisy crowded little hole-in-the-wall, your taste buds will be rewarded with a most delightful culinary experience. Wide palettes of harmonious and vivid flavors are the hallmark of every dish.

Really good food, we had been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and when we finally did it did not disappoint us! The St Jacques ravioli with courgettes are fantastic and we also had a great magret de canard! Don't miss the desserts ;-)

Me and my partner went here in October 2014. We made reservations 30 min before and they had room for two. We ate a wonderful three course dinner with delicious wine. I had the foie gras soup which was divine, and the magret du canard and the cheesecake for dessert. The food was an absolute treat and we would definitely... More

Booked for 19.30 and the restaurant was still fairly empty. We felt personally welcomed by the two staff. We got a good explanation of the menu and 3 suggestions for wine at different prices. The combination of service and beautifully cooked and presented food made this the best dinner we had in Paris. Take the advice of the owner/waiter, and... More

In an area just behind the St Martin canal just it becoming quite hip with bars, clubs and galleries this is a small restaurant serving simple well prepared food. Nothing pretentious just good homily and generous quantities. We has a mixture of plates and all were good: the scallop ravioli was excellent so was the veal; starter and dessert suitable... More
