I'd return in a heartbeat for the amazing value lunch.

2 courses were 16 euros and three were 19 euros. The only downside is that if you opt for the set menu lunch, there is one item each for each course, no options at all unless you go for the a la carte which looked impressive. I didn't like the sound of whelks as a first course so I went... read more

Trekked across town via taxi to this cute little restaurant. Booked on tripadvisor. Very smooth and welcoming atmosphere. Ham and Melon were great. Ceviche was good. Veal Kidney was awesome, never had kidney before, felt kind of like Hannibal Lector with the farva beans. A good testimony is if you'd order it again, and yes I would.

As it was my American friends' first time in Paris, I decided to look around and book somewhere to have lunch ahead of going. The reviews seemed good so I chose Chez Marie Louise and boy was that a good idea! Very authentic, interesting decor, menu was only in French but the gentleman serving us and running the bistro spoke... More

we tried a variety of different dishes and the three of us were all pleased. The wine choices were good and the service was spot on. Dessert was good as well. Would recommend. It is not a large place so you may want to make reservations-we did.

I had lunch at Marie Louise and dîner at le petit Verdot du 17 and able to compare the art of cooking. At Marie Louise I ordered rognon de veau (veal kidney): it. was so badly cooked outside overcooked and inside raw as I order rosé, on top of that it had a little bit of smell. On the opposite... This place is great. €19 for three courses at lunch, which is fabulous value. I pigged out on the wine list but still paid less than €40. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous meal here. We had menu explained to us in English though we had managed to figure out some of the options. We both had asparagus entrees; I had a white asparagus soup with cream and smoked duck and DH had steamed green asparagus served with a lemon butter sauce. Both were delicious. For my main, I... Staff was incredibly friendly and food was quite good but I wouldn't say amazing. A little on the pricier side but it was worth the splurge.

We chose this place for the reviews and the fact that prices are reasonable given it is ranked 15th of thousands of Paris restaurants. It is very small and cosy, really gives an authentic Parisian feel. Wish I could recall the name of the man who served us, I believe he is one of the owners. He was so friendly... More
