Wonderful lunch

My friend and I sat at one of the small tables outside the restaurant, located on a quiet street. The food was delicious! I had an artichoke salad that was probably the best salad I have every eaten. I then had the duck with a cherry sherry sauce, and my friend ordered seafood ravioli in a light... read more

This place is the best of all the restaurants we visited during our stay in Paris. Book a table, eat, be happy and do it again, and again. If it don't get a star or two soon, there is something wrong with the Michelin guide. Yum.

I reserved this place by mistake, as we intended to go to the Pizzeria MARIA LUISA which is in the same street, and by the way my favourite Pizzeria in Paris. We went to Chez Marie Louise there and were very happy to have made this little reservation “mistake”. Now, one year later, I can still remember the sensation of... More

We had dinner here on a Friday night in July. It's a small restaurant that does (mainly) traditional French/Parisian food at reasonable prices. The owner is an incredibly helpful man who goes out of his way to translate /help out with the menu and wine suggestion. If you are looking for good traditional though deliciously presented food, delivered without fuss... More

We have been coming to Paris for a number of years and this is probably the best experience we have had. The hotel we were staying at recommended it and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food amazing (a definite cut above the usual formula) but the owner took the time to chat even though he and his... More

We went there for lunch and had veal kidneys and st jacob ravioli. The dishes were delicious, i really loved that. The waiter did translate and explain all the dishes, so no confusion. Price is very good and if you take the lunch menu (which btw looked great) for 19 euro it's i guess the best value/quality in Paris. I... More

2 courses were 16 euros and three were 19 euros. The only downside is that if you opt for the set menu lunch, there is one item each for each course, no options at all unless you go for the a la carte which looked impressive. I didn't like the sound of whelks as a first course so I went... More

Trekked across town via taxi to this cute little restaurant. Booked on tripadvisor. Very smooth and welcoming atmosphere. Ham and Melon were great. Ceviche was good. Veal Kidney was awesome, never had kidney before, felt kind of like Hannibal Lector with the farva beans. A good testimony is if you'd order it again, and yes I would.

As it was my American friends' first time in Paris, I decided to look around and book somewhere to have lunch ahead of going. The reviews seemed good so I chose Chez Marie Louise and boy was that a good idea! Very authentic, interesting decor, menu was only in French but the gentleman serving us and running the bistro spoke... More

we tried a variety of different dishes and the three of us were all pleased. The wine choices were good and the service was spot on. Dessert was good as well. Would recommend. It is not a large place so you may want to make reservations-we did.
