Terrific Brunch

Went here for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly nice. Get a few different things and share them with your friends. We had eggs benedict, the crumble du jour and a pastry. Definitely recommended for a quick and really delicious brunch.

We looked up the best bakeries in Paris and saw this one so decided to visit.....so glad we did! We had tea, which came in cute little teapots and was hot, which is always a plus! We also ordered the orange cake which was delicious but even better, was the chocolate brownie cheesecake which was the best thing I've ever... More

We liked the soups we had there and the cake. The salad and juice is overpriced and the place is really small. The waiters have been friendly and they speak english. Somehow the place is cool but there are defintely better places in the Marais.

Really friendly service in a premises that never fails to provide lovely , fresh wholesome food. The prices are on the heavy side but you get what you pay for. Everything the best of the best

great little place to stop off and have a cake and tea or have lunch (not sure if they are open for dinner). super fresh cakes - we opted for the carrot cake.. so much cream! the teas were just what we needed. lovely decor inside, brick walls and produce stacked throughout the restaurant. you really got the feeling that... Excellent place, very discrete (no huge signs nor window labelling), a bit narrow and quite crowded. The whole team seems to be made up of English speakers who all speak perfect French, giving your experience that little charming touch. As there is seemingly not much on the menu, everything looks most carefully prepared and cooked. Speaking for us, our meals... More

The idea of open kitchen bakery and unformal (somewhat storage-like) place may be cozy and attract.. Once there the food is not organic as they claim, my pound cake barely baked When I kindly complained abiut that I was told that was how they made it - with no offer to change The orange juice, was better an orange centrifugate,... This place is really overrated and expensive - approx 40 eur for orange juice, tee and a cake for breakfast... Waiters are english-speakers(that's nice, but that's it!). Carte is quite restructed and bot much choice. crowded, hot. When we mentioned the cake was undercooked - they said - it is normal, this is the way we prepare it here -... More

Great quality and homely food in a small little take away bakery. However the prices are not at all in line with the setting or service. Breakfast will be min 30 euros per head , to be squashed on a small table , service is average ( our food came out at different times, staff are arrogant and the drinks... More

I was in the area for a work appointment and luckily happened upon Rose bakery as I've wanted to try it for a while. Excellent selection of freshly made pastries (sweet and savoury) and small menu with excellent salads and other bites. Nice but busy setting watching the staff prepare the food and orders and watching people come and go.... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
