Staying as we are in the Latin Quarter, near the Pantheon, we have dozens of street front restaurants available to us. Some of them however are pretty average in terms of food quality and service. Not so the Comptoir! We had a lovely meal there this week. My wife had grilled sea bream (€15) and I had Tagliatelle with ham... More

I went here two or three times during my week in Paris and appreciated the variety offered on the menu as well as the very drinkable house wines. Favorite meal there was a whole flounder (sole) with potatoes on the side. This Lonely Planet recommended cafe has a relaxed easy going feel to it with sidewalk seating as well as... More

We we're recommend to go to this restaurant and had to walk a bit to get there. My food was fine but my wife didn't ordered fish with vegetables and received fish with pasta which was bland. The service was underwhelming to be honest.Good place to watch the world go by but if your not in the are I wouldn't bother.

Ate here every day for breakfast as our hotel was nearby - "French" breakfast for 6.50 euros (croissants, tea/coffee and bread and jam) or "English" breakfast (same but with omelette or egg) for 9.50 euros. Much better price than the hotel!

On the way to the Pantheon, we stopped in for a coffee. Really, there isn't much to say. The service was efficient, the quality of the food/coffee was good. If you're in the area, check it out.

Went there with the family (2 adults, 1 baby, under 2), and had a great meal. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It seemed like a lot of locals were there. All in all, I thought it was very good food at a very fair price - value. Happiness, as one of my professors called it.

Ideal place to eat if visiting the Pantheon. Good simple food for all the family. Busy with tourists at Saturday lunchtime but quick service nonetheless.

We compared prices at the various bistro-brasserie options in the "hood" and this place compares well. We had mid-morning formulas twice here. Nice to be able to include some protein for your first meal and the Anglais breakfast included eggs - omelette or fried with croissant and tartine plus jam. We walked by many times and the salads were huge.... More

Pleasant Parisian spot, with good but not great food, served quickly and professionally. Excellent for a solo traveler. The duck confit hit the spot.

spending a month in Paris means having to eat modestly more than I would like while here .. there are a lot of places I would love to try but when spreading a budget over a month it just doesn't add up ... .. and I am sorry to say nearing the end of the month I have eaten more... More
