The main advantage for us was that the restaurant was close to the place we stayed. It has good food but in the neighborhood of rue Daguerre we found better places. In particular the real gem Aux Enfants Gates which is only slightly more expensive than A Mi Chemin but highly better in taste. We would return to A Mi... More

The food was exceptionally good, high quality without being overly complex The service was friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere is pleasant and warm. This is a good choice if you are looking for quality at a fair price.

We found this lovely restaurant by accident when there was no free tables for our group of six in popular restaurants of Rue Daguerre. Our first visit was so good that we had to return second time too. On both visits all selected starters were excellent. Selected main courses were simple and tasty country style food, nothing extraordinary but made... More

We ate here with my French cousin, whose friends in the neighborhood say this is one of the better restaurants in the area. We agreed. Dishes were not your traditional French plates, but rather innovative and attentively served. Desserts were excellent, as well. My cousin had the marinated pear dessert, which was great. It was not cheap, but is was... More

My small party of 7 American singers got in late to our hotel in Paris on a March evening and we were recommended this restaurant. We arrived around 10 p.m. right when there were still patrons in the restaurant, but there were signs of closing. One of the owners, the lady, whose name I'm sorry, but forgot, without speaking much... More

Very good food all around without too much fanfare or exorbitant prices, and attentive service. The beef dishes were truly exceptional. On June 21 (fete de la musique) there is also a good Jazz band playing at the entrance to the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Prices may seem high, but the food is very tasty and sophisticated. I had a wonderful risotto with grilled daurade. Lovely textures and flavours. I cleaned the plate with my bread. For dessert a tasty panna cotta with a North African touch (pistacchio and orange blossom). Service was so so. A bit... More

"A Mi Chemin" is known also by the locals as "Chez Virginie". It is a typical Parisian restaurant used by the residents and of this area of the 14th. Close to Denfert-Rochereau place it is in a calm street cutting the famous lively rue Daguerre. The atmosphere is cosy, the service is relaxed, with very good french traditional and light... More

We decided to try a restaurant that waswith in easy walking distance of our local metro line. This one is a short walk from the Denfert-Rochereau stop, through a colourful pedestrianised street and past the most incredible second-hand-book shop you 'll ever see. We reserved a table - always best for more than two at weekends - and received a... More

We stumbled upon this gem after walking the Catacombs and were delighted at the friendly service, lack of tourists, and of course the delicious menu. Although not as cheap as the 10 euro touristy places, it was not expensive, and well worth every cent. Quality ingredients cooked with care, and pretty big portions. Our best meal in Paris (so far).
