a tourist trap. meant to be traditional fench but the food was not good, wine and the music was very american (non french). staff are real good sales men but when you see the food its presentation was aweful and very bland. I have visited many french restos in paris and will not go to this one again.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. When my family and I arrived the restaurant was very busy. Although we did not have reservations we were told to come back in an hour and when we did we were seated. The food was excellent! I had the French onion soup, duck, and creme brûlée and everything was very good!... More

Good french food, nice atmosphere, busy, friendly waiters who speak good English when we struggled with our attempt at french.

A very popular small bistro type restaurant. Fun and unpretentious. You would be very comfortable taking children here. The food is on the whole very good and the service is excellent. We ended up eating here twice in one week.

The food was excellent, the wait staff charming, and the ambience very cozy. We loved our shared appetizer, salade au chevre chaud (warm goat cheese salad. My husband thought the baby chicken was the best chicken he'd ever tasted (quite a compliment) and enjoyed my cod in a mild curry sauce. We showed up without a reservation around 7:45 on... More

This place is expensive but my mouth still waters remembering the steak and mashed potatoes. My husband had the most delicious chicken. A lovely place and the waiters are professional and patient with us hen we tried to speak in French. A great choice.

For Father's Day, seven of us went to Chez Fernand. Even though we were a large group, we were promptly seated. The wait staff expertly explained the menu to us as our French language skills were not fully honed yet. The meal was exquisite. Everyone's particular and special food tastes and resulting choices were met. The rack of lamb was... More

Our hotel concierge recommended Chez Fernand and we visited on Father's Day. It is a cozy little place, but the whole staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I had perhaps the best salmon I've ever eaten - just perfectly prepared on a bed of spinach that was also exceptionally well-prepared. My husband and brother-in-law had... More

Loved this place -- the people were incredibly nice, food was good. It's sort of "intimate" seating where you'll be right next to people you don't know, but it's also kind of a cool vibe to meet strangers over a nice plate of food. Good value too. Had a better meal here than at some wicked expensive places in Paris.

This place was phenomenal. The food was absolutely perfect. There were four of us so I got to sample a lot. We had the beef bourgignon, duck, hangar steak, and filet. All amazingly tasty and very good sized portions. The atmosphere here was also really cool--fun and laid back staff. The prices were normal, nothing shocking. By far my favorite... More
