From the outside, this small restaurant doesn't impress. However when you order dinner it's a totally different matter. The waitress was kind and patient, explaining the various dishes. The plates were different and quite tasty. The only disappointment was the Sangria. DON'T ORDER this unless you are willing to settle for so=so Spanish wine. Otherwise, this is a reasonably priced... In my neighborhood, I dropped by because it's so cute. Today is duck. It is fantastic, the potatoes are crazy good and the waiter is adorable. I will be back and I will recommend.

If you are in the area of Saint Paul and are looking for Tapas this place has a great selection. It isn't too expensive and had very good service. The Chorizo was probably the best I've ever had, the Octopus was excellent and everything else we had was at least average.

My husband and I chanced on this little cafe for lunch during a walk through the Marais district. We enjoyed very good service, excellent tapas and good Spanish beer. If we were staying in Paris longer, we would definitely come back for dinner! Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Went there yesterday with a friend for the time. Small place but friendly. Simple menu of sample of tapas. Quite good actually. Decent prices and good sangria! Will go there again!

What a great find - we stopped in for a cold drink on a very warm afternoon, and stayed for a delicious meal! Our wonderful server - a beautiful blond student from Spain - invited us to try the formule for the day. We chose a gazpacho to start, which was outstanding on hot day. I had the chicken with... I had the lamb, grilled with just a touch of pink and fresh green beans. The service was good and the seating was comfortable, so I ordered the chocolate cake with creme. Oh yummy ! The table next to me ordered the tapas special. Looked wonderful.

We are regulars to this charming bodega, there is always a good excuse to go and sit there for a relaxing break, for lunch, goûter, apéro, dinner, either in the cosy inside or at the little tables outside. Tapas are all good, special mention to the tomato sauce. Dishes are nice too. And to accompany all this try the refreshing... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
