Authentic and lovely

On our first night in Paris we had a delicious meal here. There is one waiter and one chef and a small menu. But the quality and ambience is outstanding. They ere welcoming and friendly and it presents real value for money too. Fabulous French authenticity.

I enjoyed a fabulous meal - selected from the small menu. Everything is prepared by them using fresh produce. Open wine was available by the glass and by the caraffe. Well worth visiting again.

We were staying at the Hotel George across the street and were a little suspect when the Desk clerk said that the restaurant right across the street was his favorite restaurant in Paris. We were very glad we tried it out though. You can tell these people really care about food. I highly recommend you get there right when they... More

We took my son and daughter there because the meals are exquisite, and it did not disappoint. They said it was their "best meal in Paris". Seating only 28, it's an intimate atmosphere, fine food, and scrumptious desserts, you feel like a VIP. ! They make their own foie gras, and it is mouth watering. I'm adding a few photos... More

Had dinner here on our second evening in Paris and promptly booked for the next evening as well. Such good value and the food was excellent. The goats cheese with mint and chorizo was amazing as was the lamb with vegetable lasagna and all the other things we ate as well!!! Will definitely go back here next time we are... More

We were staying at the astotel hotel george just across the street from Le Bistro Lorette. I'd read good reviews before our stay so I really wanted to eat here on our trip. We went on Saturday night and we didn't have a reservation. We knew it might be tricky to get in without a reservation so we waited outside... More

The food is incredible and the service was attentive and polite. They only serve a set menu. The food was served quickly and it was on point. The ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection! Please note that they only accept cash and reservations only.

If you are looking for a great meal at a great price this is it. This off the Beaten path bistrot was the highlight of our weeklong trip in Paris. We were here on business and did the usual fancy business dinners at the hip trendy restaurants picked for us. Our last night I wanted simple and perfect. This fit... More

Really small place, with about six tables, and only two service persons, one of them is the chef. It's almost imposible to get a place without an order, so be advised! Choice of dishes in the menu is very limited (4 options for starters, 4 for main dishes and 4 for deserts), but reasonably priced for Paris, with option to... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
