Description: Dear customers, you are most welcome to bistro lorette but for those who do not yet know our restaurant it seems useful to clarify some important details. Firstly we are a neighborhood bistro, not a gourmet restaurant, we have neither the desire nor the claim, we are only 2 to manage the facility 1 kitchen 1 bathroom, so there may have the expectation (reasonable) at your arrival. Cooking takes time, we take the time, do you have time?

Good restaurant with lovely food. 2-course menu at 27 euros is reasonable. However, I expected a lot more considering the excellent reviews. The menu was not explained as is usually done in "good" French restaurants. The menu only had 4 choices, which appear to stay the same although I thought they changed seasonally/weekly. Otherwise a good restaurant!

The place is small and really cozy. The food is excellent and they really made an effort to accommodate the menu to my food intolerances, which was highly appreciated! Not a touristic place, more like a rare gem!

Luckily we reserved a table here earlier in the day because it is very small and as the evening wore on people without reservations were turned away - this on a Wednesday, so it's probably even more necessary to book at the weekend. All the food was carefully cooked, well presented and delicious!

We had the foie gras and scampi for starter, and lamb for the main course. All of it was good! The restaurant is small and intimate, and the service was very good. We didnt have a reservation, but luckily enough they had an avaliable table. I would recommend to make a reservation, as the restaurant is popular, and all the... More

It does not look like much on the outside and the inside is even less inviting with ten tables packed into a relatively small space. We strongly advise making a reservation! But appearances are deceptive and the night we dined here it was a one man show--the same guy was taking orders, preparing the meals, serving them, and presenting you... More

I ate twice at Le Bistrot Lorette over the past month and both meals were excellent. It is definitely a restaurant I will return to.

It's been almost two years since I first reviewed Bistrot Lorette, and I must have eaten there a dozen times since then. We dined there again last night, their last night before taking a summer break. The quality and service are still the same, straightforward French cuisine, beautifully cooked and presented. The menu doesn't change much, usually 4 starters, 4... More

Quaint bistro with 4 choices for entrée, main & dessert. €26 for 2 courses or €31 for 3 courses. My boyfriend had foie gras followed by veal - both delicious! I had the prawns (3 cigars) on a bed of avocado, sundried tomato & coriander, followed by a guinea fowl pastry with mashed potato & roast figs - amazing!!! Next... More

We had a wonderful experience at Le Bistrot Lorette! Loved the menu, my husband and I agreed that this was one of the best meals of our whole trip! I started with the prawns, while he had the crab cake, and for entrees I had the swordfish and he had the lamb. For dessert, the pistachio cake was out of... More

I had some beautiful food and wine. The service was fantastic, was happy to meet friendly and helpful French people. My last experience in France didn't leave me with a good feeling, but now confidence is restored. I will be back:)
