Nothing was lost in translation.

We ate lunch or dinner at a several different restaurants on the Rue Cler. We had lunch at Cafe Roussillion on a cool blustery day in April. We ate "in the window" of the restaurant. Located at the intersection of rue Clerc et rue de Grenelle, this is a friendly cafe. It is popular and often full. They offer traditional dishes and beverages. The side on rue Clerc is open when the wether is good. The interior design has nothing special. It is a much friendlier cafe than the Tribeca and Cafe du Marché, a... More

I found this café on my way to AUP (American University of Paris) and fell in love. I returned a couple of times because the food was so great. The crêpes were awesome so were the chicken and frites. The ambiance is perfect and when the weather's nice patrons can sit outside as well.

My wife and I loved this lunch spot in the university section of the Left Bank. Very cool neighborhood with many small food shops, pedestrian only cobblestone streets, etc. (rue Cler is great). The bistro was full of locals at 12:30 on a Monday, boisterous and obviously a local favorite. Wait staff was very friendly and quick, and patient with... More

We had a nice meal and wine one evening here in May 2015. The special for the day was tuna, which was cooked well, with fresh vegetables. Nothing extravagant about the restaurant but the interior and atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Prices are typical for similar restaurants with a main course and/or special of the day costing about 17-18 Euros.... More

Had lunch there today. Had the sirloin which was marvelous. I asked for medium and it came out rare which is just what I wanted. Great green salad and a huge helping of mashed potatoes. 15€. I would say this is somewhere between a biker bar and a pub. I would not go back alone at night. Fine during the... More

Our hotel didn't offer a big breakfast so we tried this restaurant. We sat down and got greeted right away to get our drinks. There were several breakfast options, I had the omelet which was delicious. We left very full and ready for our day of touring the sites.

I came here with my husband for a bite to eat we ordered a steak that came with salad and chips, I found a worm on my plate.. When we asked for the manager she shamefully took away my plate and ask us to pay for everything including my husbands plate which happened to be the same order as mine..... More

This is a repost to fix my account with Tripadvisor. Hope this does not annoy anyone. Their grilled pork chops and 1.2kg prime rib take the cake! The 1.2kg prime rib is good for at least 3 grown adults since it has plenty of sidings. The pork chops were equally satisfying. This place is great for meat lovers.

Fast, pleasant and good service. Breakfast was good sized - the combo offerings - and reasonably priced. Good location.
