Very Sweet Place To Stop For Coffee or Lunch

Close to the Louvre, this is a small and cozy coffee shop that has been roasting and selling coffee since the 1800's. We had a simple lunch of Croque Madame, a thai rice salad, and Muselli. Helpful staff and a great place to stop after visiting the Louvre.

Searching for a proper espresso our concierge recommended Verlet. Not disappointed. Something other than the automatic machine coffees and Nespresso. Wide variety of teas as well. Only problem is closed Sundays.

I decided to go here after reading so many good recommendations. Small, cozy cafe with nice atmosphere. I've tried coffee with macaroon "Marie Antoinette". Delicious.

I can't say excellent because i didn't have any food but it's a very sweet small tea room/lunch place with an upstairs that was closed while I was there. It's a great place to meet a friend, it's on the lovely rue fabourge st. honore but it's more old fashion French than fancy French. Nothing wrong with fancy French at... More

My husband and I are coffee snobs. Verlet is where locals go for good coffee. They also sell roasted coffee packets to go, which was how we first tasted Verlet coffee-- dark, smooth, appropriately bitter but not sour. Very cozy. They sell some kind of candied fruit in the front.

After visiting Louvre, I want to have a very late lunch. Cafe Verlet is really nice place for light lunch and taking a rest with coffee. Quiche with salad I ordered is tasty and enough for lunch. Cafe au lait is served by espresso and steamed milk separately. And also you can buy many types of coffee beans roasted in... More

My mom and I found this coffee/tea shop online when looking for the best quiche near the Lourve. Let's just say the review we read lived up to our experience at Verlet. The cafe is small and provides a cozy ambiance, while there is additional seating upstairs for busier times. After a quick 3 block walk from the Museum, we... More

For more than a century, this casual, cozy tea salon was a small paradise for local parisians to come to enjoy their daily coffee/tea in the Louvre district. It was also famous for it’s role as coffee roaster in Paris with a history dated back in the 18th century. This tea salon was ideal for travelers who : - were... More
