My husband and I are coffee snobs. Verlet is where locals go for good coffee. They also sell roasted coffee packets to go, which was how we first tasted Verlet coffee-- dark, smooth, appropriately bitter but not sour. Very cozy. They sell some kind of candied fruit in the front.

After visiting Louvre, I want to have a very late lunch. Cafe Verlet is really nice place for light lunch and taking a rest with coffee. Quiche with salad I ordered is tasty and enough for lunch. Cafe au lait is served by espresso and steamed milk separately. And also you can buy many types of coffee beans roasted in... More

My mom and I found this coffee/tea shop online when looking for the best quiche near the Lourve. Let's just say the review we read lived up to our experience at Verlet. The cafe is small and provides a cozy ambiance, while there is additional seating upstairs for busier times. After a quick 3 block walk from the Museum, we... More

For more than a century, this casual, cozy tea salon was a small paradise for local parisians to come to enjoy their daily coffee/tea in the Louvre district. It was also famous for it’s role as coffee roaster in Paris with a history dated back in the 18th century. This tea salon was ideal for travelers who : - were... More

Some years ago we discovered Verlet in the rue St Honoré. Since then it is a regular stop on each of our Paris city trips. No need to tell you about the coffee or tea you can buy or try. But important to tell you about the delicious lunch snacks "pour le petit faim" as the French so nicely put... More

We went to Paris for the haute cuisine but now that we're back in the states the place I think about most with the fondest feelings is the Cafe Verlet, where we went three times, because the coffee and espresso are so fine. You can get coffee to go and recommend that you do so, we did, but even better... More

I was looking to buy coffee beans to take home as a souvenir. I think this cafe does most of their business as a coffee beans seller. It was the best coffee I have ever taken home.

Just Horrible. I'm Australian and my husband is Italian. Both coffee loving people. We went to this place after reading the good reviews on TripAdvisor. The people that wrote good reviews for this place must have a really low opinion of what a good cup of coffee should be as this place was one of the worst coffee places we've... More
