Cosy and friendly

Came here for lunch when out walking with no particular plans. It was fine for a quick meal. Food was good and the place was small and friendly--cosy in fact. The style was rural traditional French in food and ambience rather than some of the pushy slicker offerings found in Paris. Many places... read more

Simple yet complex bistro type cuisine to satisfy a variety of tastes! Will definitely return next time I am near the tour Eiffel! Mushrooms and Brittany oysters then steak au poivre with pomme frites to die for (Avec Bordeaux:) followed by creme brûlée and chocolate fondant with a touch of sea salt. Subtle yet amazing!

We just love this place! The food is great and the service is excellent. Nice little bistro with maybe 10 tables - near Ecole Militaire. We will continue to return each time we get back to Paris!!

The place is small and cosy, and well located. Waiters were friendly. The duck main course I had was tasty but disappointingly small. I had asked the waiter which of the meat dishes was larger than others (as I was hungry) and was told all were about the same; but a bit later I watched as he brought my colleague... More

We had a great dinner at this fine restaurant enjoying some delicious escargot, both the magret de canard and the tartare were really tasty and the creme brûlée was the perfect ending. A little bit pricey but good for a special evening.

Tired from a long day of sightseeing, our concierge suggested we walk the few blocks to this quiet little restaurant. What a treat! We had a fabulous meal, delicious wine and the kind of ambience one can only imagine in Paris. Our teenagers loved the chalkboard menus and the cozy dinning room. From appetizers to dessert, the meal was perfect.... More

We split the goat cheese and pear salad and the eggs poached in a red wine sauce. In a tourist area near the Eiffel Tower but reasonable prices--and very patient with my limited French.

We had been introduced to 7eme Vin by our son and wife last year, so when we returned to the same Paris neighborhood in September, we had to return. It is a very small restaurant with a windowed eating area looking out at the tree-lined Avenue Bosquet. It is the opposite of the touristy places a few blocks away along... More

Nice little bistro, helpful with my stumbling French. Good basic French cooking (smoked salmon, confit de canard) with good choice of wines by the glass or bottle. Proprietor friendly. Would return.
