Very rude service Frenchie Bar A Vins

I entered the bar, and immediately we were told that there was a long waiting list. The waiters still were willing to put our names on the list and encouraged us to wait at the bar. We were standing at the bar, and despite being on high heels, I was not allowed to sit on a bar chair which was... read more

Despite best efforts to secure reservations at the restaurant, we were out of luck. So we decided to try the wine bar for some late evening drinks and nibbles. Well...two hours into our wait we were finally seated. Yes, it's that busy and popular. BUT, we actually had a terrific time having drinks, chatting with other folks (including international students... More

The food is good, but destroyed for an arrogant service , Fronchié style. (At the Bar a vin ,where the toilet is in front of your meal ..........) Fronchié style.

One of the best meals in Paris. Request the Chef's table, get the tasting menu paired with wine and arrive on time. The staff and service is fabulous and we can't stop thinking about the foie gras.

We actually ate here September 2013. We made our reservations two months in advance, to the day, and glad we did. We sat in a table that overlooked the kitchen door and when Greg made his way to look out at the diners, I blushed and stammered like a little school girl. We ordered basically one of each and the... This is an excellent restaurant. I went to both Frenchie bar a vin and Frenchie restaurant, and it was a perfect meal.

Great dinner on our last night in Paris. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings. The dishes were creative, well presented, and oh so flavorful. I'm not a dessert person, but I am still thinking about the incredible apple "terrine" with shiso ice cream and salted caramel. The service was flawless. The sommelier was wonderful - she really knows... More

After repeated unsuccessful attempts to secure a reservation at Frenchie on past trips to Paris, I decided to take a chance, brave the rain and show up a the Frenchie Wine Bar as close to the 7pm opening as my lost taxi driver would allow. It was a Friday evening, so while I was hopeful, I would have completely understood... More

Went here after a friend recomandation not knowing anything about it...hard to find located on a small street...around 20 persons waiting outside not being open and with only few tables we were not sure if worth it but we stay. First of all is very casual, not confortable and more like an wine bar...people standing at the bar tasting wine... More

Frenchie is a jewel of restaurant. It is located in a charming and cozy place. The staff is friendly, attentive and very well versed in the wines and the dishes served. The kitchen is run meticulously, and the dishes produced are amazing: both in terms of flavors, presentation and creativity. I strongly recommend visitors to have the 5 course chef... More
