We tried to get a reservation to the restaurant for about a month. There was no answer (even in the hours when the answering machine is saying that they are taking reservations). So we decided to go to the wine bar, just across the street (2 steps away), where no reservation is needed. The wine bar opens at 7pm, but... More

Disappointed we couldn't get a table at the popular restaurant across the road, the friendly staff suggested we try our luck at just turning up on a first-come, first-served basis, as the wine bar doesn't take reservations. As it was Friday night we arrived just before 7pm opening and we were happy to have a table. Tables are high bar-style... More

"Culinary nirvana" - that is how my husband described our meal as we left Frenchie and I'd have to agree. This was one of the best meals we have ever had. We had the two seats at the bar and were able to watch the chef put the finishing touches on each and every plate that went out. Seeing his... More

This is a review for the Frenchie wine bar across the street. We had an amazing time. The place was packed and everyone was having a great time. We finally got a table and I loved the location. It was right by the kitchen but there is a huge window that looks right into the kitchen and you can see... More

We had heard about Frenchie and asked our concierge to make a reservation. He responded with, they're booked until the end of the December and their food isn't really that good. Since our hotel only recommends super stuffy restaurants, we decided to go anyway and wait for the wine bar. Best decision we made. We were jet lagged and knew... More

One of the most special meals I've had in life, for my wedding aniversary. Exquisite degustation menu, exquisite food and wine as well. Service was excellent, as well as unpretentious. Perfect experience.

if you are in London and in the suburb of Clapham be sure to visit Trinity which is superb. We have tried the tasting menu several times and it never fails to impress but there is also an A La Cartre menu. . The food seems to evolve with the changing seasons. . Adam Byatt is keen to make the... More

We waited for an hour and a half to be seated, but it was worth the while. Service was great, very nice and helpful. Only downside, by the time we got our table they had ran out of 3 of the 5 dishes we had set our eyes - and taste buds - on!

We happened to get a reservation at the restaurant after eating at the bar/restaurant the previous week.(the bar has a very similar menu to a restaurant in Miami, Florida called Michael's Genuine) There are 3 different restaurants:The Frenchie Bar, Frenchie Restaurant, and the Frenchie's To Go. It is very difficult to get a reservation at the Frenchie Restaurant! One should... More

They just completed renovations and the restaurant is more upscale than before. I think the menu used to be price fix. You now have 2 choices a-la-carte or 5 course tasting menu. Food is adventurous but approachable. For example the mains consisted of baby goat vs monkfish vs squab. That's it. 3 choices for app 3 for entree and 3... More
