My favorite restaurant in paris.

We can with the warmest recommend this little restaurant close to the eiffeltower, the food is really good for an acceptable price, and personel makes you almost feel at home, relaxed and in a good area 10 min walk from eiffeltower.

Go to this resaurant if you wish to be treated like second class citizen, I guess I didn't spend enough on the meal (shared a pizza between two) and payed the price by getting a snappy waitress demanding I sit at the table properly not my idea of a relaxing night out.

Great simple Italian spot. Quiet, local and not touristy considering it is not far from the Eiffel tower. we found by accident, our waiter was very friendly and helpful. He gave us some great recommendation from the menu. Food was excellent. If you visit the Eiffel tower a must place to eat

Recommended by our apartment manager but was disappointed. The server/owner mixed up our salad order, and the salad was overcome by bitter dressing. The truffle-infused gnocchi was good, but the ambience and service was not. Skip this one and seek out others more worthy of a Paris dining experience.

Went back next night, took a taxi and arrived around eight, place was two thirds empty, we were sure we were about to be seated but also a woman had arrived at the same time with paperwork we suspect the booking for another coach party, we were... Stumbled across this lovely Italian restaurant, we were wanting to try some traditional French food but to be honest we love Italian food and this was one of the best we have been to (as good as some in Italy!) waitress was very friendly and helpful, ordered pasta and was so fresh and the flavours were fantastic. Also had pana... More

my wife and i recently returned to La Taverna. We both had the veal with lemon sauce for main. I had the seafood cocktail for entree and my wife had the artichoke salad. The food here is very reliable, the menu is broad enough, the wine list is reasonable and the service is good. This is a very good local... More

My wife and I visit La Taverna every few months because it's a quality place serving quality food. True it's not the cheapest Italian resto in the area, but it's worth paying a little extra. I think they must have really good chef, the food tastes special, the staff are friendly and helpful. We would recommend to try, you won't... More

I ate here several times during a recent trip to Paris and I have to say every meal was a delight. The staff are lovely - friendly and efficient. I was with friends and everyone ordered something different we all tasted - all great and reasonably priced. The wines are lovely the same. Will definitely go back on my next... More
