went twice, first night they were busy, coach tours, no room for a couple. Went back next night, took a taxi and arrived around eight, place was two thirds empty, we were sure we were about to be seated but also a woman had arrived at the same time with paperwork we suspect the booking for another coach party, we were... Stumbled across this lovely Italian restaurant, we were wanting to try some traditional French food but to be honest we love Italian food and this was one of the best we have been to (as good as some in Italy!) waitress was very friendly and helpful, ordered pasta and was so fresh and the flavours were fantastic. Also had pana... More

my wife and i recently returned to La Taverna. We both had the veal with lemon sauce for main. I had the seafood cocktail for entree and my wife had the artichoke salad. The food here is very reliable, the menu is broad enough, the wine list is reasonable and the service is good. This is a very good local... More

My wife and I visit La Taverna every few months because it's a quality place serving quality food. True it's not the cheapest Italian resto in the area, but it's worth paying a little extra. I think they must have really good chef, the food tastes special, the staff are friendly and helpful. We would recommend to try, you won't... More

I ate here several times during a recent trip to Paris and I have to say every meal was a delight. The staff are lovely - friendly and efficient. I was with friends and everyone ordered something different we all tasted - all great and reasonably priced. The wines are lovely the same. Will definitely go back on my next... More

Was here with my family. The food was very nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Not always the case in Paris. We got some bruschetta while we where looking at the menu. The kids got their food before us which was nice. Can really recommend this place. Reasonable pricing as well.

It is very rare to get good food near a tourist site - one as famous as the Eiffel Tour - and it be a good price. We had the prix menu for 35€ but chose some items that were an additional charge (clearly stated on the menu). The food was well prepared and portions were appropriate. The service was... More

We chose here for our last night in Paris. Again we sat outside even though it was the first of October. A little cup of dip and toasted bread was provided while we chose our food and wine . They had a good range of both French and Italien wines and we chose a delicious Umbrian white. The menu had... More
