We had the tasting meny. It was 8 courses. Small, beautiful dishes like pieces of art. The whole place is minimalistic. No decorations you could hardly see the one painting on the wall since it too was white! Personally I think this food is too pretentious so were also the presentations by the staff. The arcade outside is vey nice. In... More

This was to date, the best meal I have ever had. To have a 12 course tasting menu and absolutely love the presentation and taste of each dish is truly hard to find. You get michelin 2 star service (should be a 3 star in my opinion) yet the staff is very approachable and cultured in the food and experience.... More

The food was magnific and the service excellent! The meal was totally surprising because the name of each dish was announced once arrived on the table. We learned that only fresh products of the season were used a reason why they did not show us the menu.

Book ahead of time because the place is small and always full. Excellent meal, the ingredients, the cooking, the service and the generosity of the ten dishes presented on their menu for 130 euros, for dining. Any extra or alcohol would be added to your bill. It is a mix of Japanese cooking with a French touch, fine, tasty, amazing... More

We had lunch at restaurant Passage 53 on our 10th wedding anniversary, where we stumbled over this small and intimate restaurant during a shopping tour. We were lucky there was a cancellation, so we could enjoy the extensive saturday lunch menu. a delicious 7 course menu, with matching wines as result. We were very pleasantly surprised by the original dishes... More

When in Paris, you cannot miss this restaurant. The perfect match of Japanese cooking staff led by Japanese Chef and the French hall manager has achieved the surprising success. All the dishes cooked with the best material at the peak of the season are so delicate, subtle and sophisticated in aspect of temperatures, textures that you would feel like listening... More

Understand up front that if you go for lunch, you will have a price fix menu (we paid 130 Euros per head, or close to $180 per head with current exchange rates), and the option of having wines paired with your courses. Both of my dining companions had the wine pairings, and both have very good palettes, and both felt... More

We had yet another amazing evening at Passage 53. We eat here 2 years ago, and in the meantime it has, if even possible, got even better. Each course was great . It's a tasting menu - 14 courses or so - and yes it into cheap. But is it great value - undoubtedly !! And the sommelier is great... More

We missed the entrance to the restaurant because it was so discreet! Each course was delicate, intricate, creative, and very, very, very tasty. I especially enjoyed the venison - never had such tender game meat before. The wines recommended by the sommelier were all spectacular. The price for the main course is reasonable for a restaurant with Michelin 2 stars.... More

everything was perfect ....the service, the wine but mainly the food were as good as it gets!!! the staff really goes out of the way to make the experience perfect...the wine list pricing is fair if the location was better ...would be a three star w/ no doubt ..the food is expertly prepared and just the right portions
