Walked in on impulse and very pleased

We were looking for another restaurant that we couldn't find so settled for this one when we got tired of walking It was almost empty at 7:40 on a Saturday night but it filled soon after we sat down. The restaurant is tiny--long and narrow—about the size of a railway car. Somehow we had ample... read more

I had just arrived in Paris and it was too early to check in to my hotel. So I took a walk in the bright sunlight and found this little gem opposite the Luxembourg Palace gardens. I was shown to a table and the waiter was very helpful. Even reverted to English with a smile at my poor French. I... More

The beautiful art deco surroundings are a fitting background to the lovely food coming from the kitchen. If you don't have time fora a meal, pop in for a champagne at the classy bar.

I found by case this restaurant while getting out the Luxemburg parc. The menu is not very wide but offers good food. The staff is also commercial towards customers.

This is a relatively nondescript neighborhood bistro near the Luxembourg Garden. Diverse menu, nicely prepared food and a spartan yet comfortable ambience. No jive and reasonable prices with attentive service, and they're open on Sunday. It's a refreshing break.

I had a lovely meal with my husband in Paris at this restaurant. It was my birthday and we had just arrived in this area and were trying to find something special. The 2 Oliviers was an excellent choice. The food was divine and the seating area quite good although it was a very busy evening and space was limited.... More

It's a restaurant for everyone. People who like meat, fish or only vegetables are welcome. The food is very good. It's a small and pleasant place.

Adorable little bistro, just opposite La Senate (Palais de Luxembourg). Particularly attractive because it is intimate but not pretentious. Apparently, a meeting place for senators during the week so the food must be very good for those demanding gourmands. Aux 2 Olives is open on a sunday evening - often a challenge when eating in Paris on the weekend. Anyway,... More
