Description: Le Petit Bordelais features regular in the restaurant columns of French newspapers and magazines. This chic fine dining restaurant is between les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The décor is sophisticated and the service warm and welcoming. There is a definate South West influence in the regularly changing menu, for example the side of beef in a Bordeaux sauce.

Very tasty food in a modern style and excellent service. The choice on the menu, while not extensive, was enough to give everyone something that they liked. The depth of flavour showed a really professional chef was at work.

We were referred this small, out of the way place by our concierge for a last minute dinner reservation. The chef/owner came out and visited with us, sharing his personal philosophy of how food should be thought of, sourced, prepared, and enjoyed. It was clear he made it his personal mission to elevate each ingredient to it's best. The wines... More

The meals were tasty and the service was excellent, but I was hoping for a little more. Think i may have been spoiled by the excellent lunch I had earlier in the day. Started with amous bouche that was a pate, but it was too much given the starter was foie gras. The foie gras was in a sauce and... More

My husband booked this restauarnt for me as a surprise so I had no idea what to expect, but I must say it greatly exceeded my expectations. I decided to go for the tasting menu with accompanying wines, and I have never experienced a meal with each dish so perfectly paired with each wine. Everything I was served was cooked... More

When she asked the waiter for a suggestion he recommended the chicken over the perch. Instead of recommending it, they would do everyone a favor by taking it off the menu. All she got was leg and thigh, more bone than meat. It was tough and had no flavor. She would have done better at KFC. The service was slow... More

My husband and I had to entertain new associates and want to make sure putt dining experience was a good one. Le petit bordelais did not disappoint. On a quaint side street on the left side opens to a rustic chiq inside. Chairs and tables were big ( usual) for Paris. Food was so good. Delicious food beautifully plated but... More

We rented an apt in Paris for 2 weeks and the owner recommended a couple of typical French restaurants and this was one of them. We went without a reservation but they were happy to give us a table. It's a cozy place with low lighting and very attentive staff. They helped us to order and everything was delicious. The... More

Based on the reviews on this website I booked a table for a special meal during our holiday in Paris. We were disappointed overall particularly given that this is a fairly expensive restaurant. The food on the tasting menu was good but not spectacular. At the start of the meal the service was good but then declined and we had... More

My husband and I booked a table here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, purely going on the reviews. What a treat! The place is small but cosy, intimate and well-maintained. The staff are attentive without being overbearing, and it's clear the chef has a real passion for his food, as well as a good knowledge of his wine list! The... More
