OK, Can be hit or miss

This is a chain bistro/pub type of restaurant. We have had good meals at some locations, but it seems it all depends on the day and the location. Service is usually good, but on crowded nights do not expect very responsive staff.

Restaurant Chez Clement is a chain restaurant with typical French faire. Although we've been visiting Paris for over four decades, we recently "discovered" Chez Clement. The food is not fancy but it is very tasty. The menu offers a varied selection. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We ate at Chez Clement at... More

Where to start! No one around to greet and show you to a table, took ages to place order and after being told the steak was replaced by duck we asked what the daily roast was-beef we were told-we ordered 2. My glass of red tasted cheap and was fridge cold. After about 30 minutes our food came-2 very rare... More

My wife and I had lunch and dinner at this restaurant. We enjoyed both meals very much. I had duck and chocolate volcano cake. I thought the service was very good. The location is very convenient to the Bastille.

This restaurant has nothing to recommend it whatsoever - food, service, attitude of staff - all dreadful. A great shame as this was our last night in Paris and we had hoped for something as good as the previous two evenings. Everything about the place was dreadful (except perhaps for the surroundings). We were really cold and ended up some... More

If you are looking for something simple and easy in Paris, this is the one for you. It may be part of a chain but the food is tasty and consistent.

Guess being a busy holiday season, service and food standard were definitely compromised. I guess our table if 12 pp didn't help make it easy for the server. It wasn't a great xmas meal for the 53ish euro xmas set that I paid including drinks. A small pc of oyster sitting on a bed of salt was kinda sad, though... More

No doubt the worst eating experience we have had in Europe! they give out English menus then don`t cook the food anything like you ask! Raw steak when you want medium to well done, chicken that is dry and obviously been cooked long ago! No English breakfast tea available. Soggy potato chips, old lettuce. They offered a lousy 10% OFF... More

It's one of those conundrums when you are not having a good time or enjoying the food but everyone around you is. So what does that mean? Bad menu choice, bad luck or bad food? The only thing I had that was really good was, of course the bread is great and goes without saying, the hand made sausage, of... More

Very average Slow Service desended into disgust when I was served dehydrated, burnt, cold meats. The mixed grill dish was mostly inedible. The tough dry overcooked steak was terrible, the rib was so overcooked that marinade was past charcoal and what was once meat was just carbon, They must have had this sitting on a grill for a long time,... Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
