Delicious desserts!

We tried the strawberry tart, chocolate eclair, chocolate brownie here at PAUL, and loved everything. We had to come back next day for more. One of the best places to get a variety of desserts at decent prices. It is located in a number of places, so its easy to find one.

Picked up wonderful baguettes here yesterday with husband and kids and had an excellent picnic in the Jardins Tuilleries. I particularly enjoyed the chicken and mustard filling and my husband loved the jambon cru. Oh and don't forget to buy the doughnuts filled with nutella. Sheer heaven!

We grabbed two sandwiches for lunch at Paul, which was just off Saint Germaine, in the Rive Gauche shopping area. We walked down to the Seine near Notre Dame and had a picnic with them. The first bite, I'd wished I bought two! I had a chicken with lettuce and tomato on poppy seed bread. My husband had a ham... More

Thought I would be guaranteed a good cappuccino but was surprised that it was the worst I'd tasted in France on my 2 week trip. Croissants were good anyway.

This is a chain that is the most consistent through out Europe and believe it or not Toyko,Japan. The sandwiches are the best, most likely because of the bread. Pastries are excellent! This is a chain that does it right.

Paul is a chain of pastry shops in Paris. They make a very thick hot chocolate that is the best we have ever had. When we go to Paris, the first place we always hit is Paul for the hot chocolate. The Paul we like the best is at the bus #67 stop in Montmarte. Only once were we ever... More

I can always rely on Paul for nice-quality pastries and bread as well as an enjoyable breakfast or lunch. The chain has stores throughout Paris, so I know I am never far away from a "sure bet" for a snack or more. The bakery items are not made on site, however, so do not expect unusual artisan creations. For that,... More

Another go to spot for a quick bite to eat. Located throughout Paris and France, you can't go wrong at this place. Ours was on the Champs elysees and was always clean, stocked with fresh pastries, and fast. A few Euros and you'll eat like a king; or at least like a traveler. Bon appetit!

The pastries here are just fabulous. I tried 4 different ones and loved them all! I also tried the hot chocolate, this is REAL melted chocolate. Very sickly after a large cup, but totally worth it just to drink half. You can't order the cabinet items if wanting to sit inside, but if you can grab one of the tables... More

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères.
