A Food Place For A Fast Breakfast

We had breakfast at Paul's and found it very good. Nice pastries and good coffee and fresh orange juice. It is a chain and I would compare it to Panera in the states.

We stopped in here for breakfast one morning and it was amazing. The pastry choice was amazing and the taste was to die for..... If it had been closer to where we lived for the week I would have been back every morning. I can only hope they come to Scotland but I will def be back.

We stopped into Paul for a lunch not knowing what to expect from the reviews. The food was phenomenal. So was the desserts and coffee. We ordered the pizza one day with dessert and coffee and the next day a sandwich with dessert and coffee. Don't be intimated if you cannot read the menu - try and the staff will... More

Having waited 10 minutes in a queue and then be told we're closed at a very well known sandwich bar (never to eat there again) we found this incredible shop/restaurant with amazing baguettes and pastries loved into perfect. In the Auchan shopping centre next to Gellieni terminus. If you like quality food to take away and around Bagnolet. Eat here.... More

It's not always easy to find a good place to eat on a Sunday in Paris, and even more difficult in August, but we had a good French breakfast here this week. The service was excellent, fast and very friendly, and the food was fine. It's not their fault that the typical French breakfast isn't very satisfying.

We had breakfast here this morning and ate it outside on the two tables they have. We had two coffee creme's and a ham and cheese quiche. They give you a side salad with the quiche that was fantastic. While we were there we saw several people popping in to get their baguette or sandwich to go. This place isn't... More

Place is okay if you're looking for a budget-friendly croissant and coffee in Paris. However, it isn't so unique and tradtitional as other cafes you could find in Paris. Don't go more than once if you're a coffee lover.

This chain of pocket cafes can be found both in Paris and London. Pleasant and efficient service is coupled with reasonably price coffee, tea, juices, pastries and sandwiches (reasonable at least for capital cities). Stop in for a quick snack and you'll find fresh, pleasant food and drinks.

My wife and I happened upon Paul while strolling around the Saint Germain area and completely flipped over the array of wonderful treats, breads, sandwiches, etc! We ended up eating quiche there almost every morning during our stay and then stopping by later each day for a salad, sandwich, or pastry (or two)! Everything was delicious! While you certainly have... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
